The New Orleans Saints would be a awesome choice for Aaron Roger's they have a very good defense. The division is not very good it's indoors weather won't be a factor. This is his best chance for a Super Bowl ??
Maybe before yesterday and the Sean Payton retirement announcement....although the Saints have the WORST salary cap situation in the League, I think like $40 million over the cap...
Heard an interesting suggestion on the radio today by one of the Colts' local media members.... Aaron Rodgers And Devante Adams in offseason FA deal...talk about a loaded AFC...
Thank you America

And back to TB12, he always has said play to 45, and he'll be 45 in August. Many on the "inside" feel he will retire, for once, it's actually a decision. When you add everything up, many of the comments he has made to the Media, talking about his family, his kids, 2 of which have hit or are about to hit their teenage years, 12 and 14, before you know it, they're graduating. I'm a strong lean he retires and the Bucs will need a QB next season. Plus OC Byron Leftwich is a strong candidate to become the next head coach at Jacksonville, that would mean for Brady having to adapt to a new OC which I'm sure he's not really interested in doing at the end of his career for 1 more year. Without being familiar with Tampa's cap situation, Rodgers or even an unhappy Russell Wilson might be a perfect fit for the Bucs, a playoff team with a legit chance to get back to the Superbowl next season. And the weather and lifestyle here doesn't hurt either beside the fact the Florida has no state taxes.

IF you think SF is winning because of Jimmy G then ok you're right. And YES, no team has been decimated by injuries over last 3 years like Niners.
Jimmy G is a Trent Dilfer. Dilfer won a SB. So did Flacco. Jimmy G went to EIU, just like Romo, for a reason and huge credit to the careers they have had and still have. They are who we thought they are.
But let's not get silly here and compare a known career upside to a yet to be seen career.
Jimmy geeked in that first year SB when he would of nailed down the win by dropping an unpressured dime into WIDE OPEN WR for easy TD.....BUT he shit the pot. And instead, the young opponents QB with huge upside flipped the script BY NOT GEEKING(still doesnt geek, Jimmy still does) to come back and WIN. ANYONE with half a brain who looked at Mahomes and Alex Smith said Mahomes had way bigger upside despite his lack of playing time before he became full time starter. Why? Because most knew what the ceiling was for Alex.
Point is NOT SF can possibly make it to SB in 2 of JGs 4 seasons, the POINT IS they are doing it in spite of their QB, who at this point may or may not be the best option.
I would stay with Jimmy G at this point and they will. Who knows what would of been if Trey wasn't injured early in the season. I'm pulling for Jimmy "to get over the hump" because I want Niners winning. And they just may in spite of his not being great just managing game and making a few big plays when needed and not making that ONE BIG mistake or missing the ONE BIG opportunity to put a game away....

Very capable of 3 straight Super Bowl appearances in a 4 year span. Given 1 year to prepare. If Rodgers and coaching mesh well together. Other key pieces might come and go, (receivers, RBs, Defense upgrades. etc) but overall without any significant injuries, the 49ers would be a force to reckon with.
If you fail to Manage. You are managing to fail.

as someone who had never had a major injury, when I tore my ACL and tried to come back it was ALWAYS on my mind on every single cut, strike, etc. I was never the same and I understand exactly what you're seeing in Jimmy G. You are kinda seeing it with Klay too. His game looks timid and rightfully so.

I don't think Green Bay will deal him to an NFC team, if they're smart. Even Farvre went to the Jets, and he was past him prime, not the case with Rodgers. I think he goes to Denver or maybe Tenn, but my lean is Denver.

Rodgers was on the "Tom Brady" deal this past season....as in the only reason he came back was because the Packers gave him what he wanted, the opportunity to choose his next team via FA.

Spot on Russo, Brady calls it a day and rides off into the sunset.
I also think Rodgers gets paid and stays in GB, no exec wants to be the one responsible for Rodgers leaving, even if they think Love is the next coming
curious what everyone thinks of Trey Lance? I know nothing about him, is he so good/the one to carry the 9ers after JimG? I feel like they’re trying to reincarnate Kaepernick and their success with a running qb?

Reports saying that Arod and Davonte Adams want to go to Denver, together. If OC Nathaniel Hacket gets the job as the Broncos HC, this story should gain traction.
Getting rid of Von Miller was a good $ dump. And the Broncos got a 2nd and 3rd rd draft pick for him.
If you guys recall, the Broncos received a lot of love from the sharps all year. This doesn't happen for no reason. The Broncos are pretty well stacked(roster wise) as it is. It's just that Fangio could never get the offensive side of the game on track, and they had instability at QB.
Don't sell their kicking game short either, McManus is a stud.
Punter Sam Martin was 8th in inside the 20 percentage in 2021. And has given up only 2 td's in his 9 year career.
It's gotta be the most appealing destination for an aging qb who needs to win NOW. Also, what better way to prove all the naysayers by entering a division where you have to battle against Pat Mahomes, Justin Herbert and David Carr.

George Kittle: "Lance is legit. He's young. He's inexperienced. Fine. But he's smart, he works his butt off, and if you can't see the talent, I don't know where you're looking. He's gonna be a beast."
No way Rodgers wants to play for SF. Don't think communist SF/Santa Clara would even be on his radar.
Relax. I'm unvaxxed!

I watched Aaron Rodgers AND Alex Smith very closely in college. The Niners we're boneheads for drafting Alex Smith.....
You mean "were," not "we're." What you said makes no sense - "The Niners we're boneheads...." Dumbass! An apostrophe is a punctuation mark that indicates possession, or the omission of letters. You can't just go around inserting them randomly in the middle of words. With punctuation like that, you couldn't even toe the line in a 6th grade English class.

Jimmy G is better than Trent Dilfer ever was. And if Jimmy’s number one defense doesn’t lose a double digit lead in the 4th quarter, he’s a Super Bowl champion.

Yes, because Shanny's play calling and Jimmy's decision making had nothing to do with losing that DD lead....

Broncos and Colts have the most appealing rosters...then Steelers, all in the AFC of course but the NFC options just aren't nearly as good. Plus, as you said, his girl lives just outside of Denver already.... +2000 not bad

Autocorrect. It happens to everyone. Any half- intelligent person would figure as much and wouldn'take such a pointless post.
What, are you mad I called you out for trying to incorrectly correct another poster? You made, bro? Atleast now you know the correct verbage of toe the line

Rodgers/Adams, pricey package and now you have to get a deal done with 2 stars. Not saying it can't be done but it won't be that easy. Saints would have been an excellent fit but with SP gone, unlikely. Broncos look like a good fit too. Be an interesting watch this off season. I remember couple years ago everyone talking about Tom Brady and where he would end up, honestly, never thought it would be in Tampa, it seemed a long shot at best, so you never know-

I see Rodgers retiring from football and running for political office. The country needs more patriots like him especially now in order to save the soul of the nation.

He can't just walk anywhere he wants, unless he retires. GB has a say in where he goes. They're going to get something back for him, so yes, "deal him". For example, if he wants to go to Chicago, that ain't happening. After today's news, it's pretty obvious he's going to Denver, like I said yesterday. Denver picking up Nathaniel Hackett as their new head coach is all part of the Rodgers trade.

You sure Charlie ?? I know he's not unrestricted FA but RFA after re-doing his deal last off-season as requirement to return to team...Packers would get something in return just not a trade... we'll have to check this out.
