I am not a hater, and I must congratulate Carolina on their great season....Right?....Well at the same time, I am not going to throw 16 games of data down the toilet, and start believing that Carolina is and should be ODDS on FAV..to win "SB50".. were they .2 weeks ago? yesterday? but tonight Yes? Right? ML-275

SO when the Line for the SuperBowl came up later 3rd quarter Panthers -4 RIght?...I ran to the window. to take the 4 points.
Later when the game was long decided because the Cardinals QUIT somewhere in the 2nd quarter..after the CB Peterson fumbled a punt return and then got called holding a few plays later.
But when Carolina decided to go for a 2 point conversion ....I thought this is unbelievably BAD FORM. So I went back to the window to place  a ML bet on Denver @+150......Right?

#1 the computer power rankings on this team have not been top 8 until they got in the Playoffs and Beat up on a Seahawks who traveled 2000 mile each way  for 3 weeks....pretty much expected them  unable to perform and they didn't disappoint.    That Win finally moved the Carolina's opponents powers off  their  (- 1.9), just enough to let the biased computer to place them in the TOP 6....

#2    Yes their competition has been weak, in fact so weak they hold the 32nd place of 32 places for weakest 16 week schedule...so EXCUSE me for not giving them their FULL CRED!!! right? But in their defense they can't be "dinged" for bad schedule making, can we?

#3..Now,  I would like to tell you, I bet against them for their "bad Karma display" when they went for that 2 point conversion.toninte to score 40... but in truth, I didn't want to let the +150 get away while Carolina was looking so damn awesome... But really because Jared Allen has a broken foot bone, they lost DAVIS in the game, most likely won't play, they are down a CB and safety.{4 of 11 starters.}..SO I rushed up there before the bettors came to their senses. ( PS: I bet the Giants wouldn't win 8+ games, when they lost just  2 key pass defenders one weekend in the preseason, cashed that, they were 6-10).


#4     Payton Manning is washed-up and just a shadow of his old self..Right?... Funny thing he didn't start 6 games ( now fully rested old man) yet the Broncos went 12-4 despite his miserable flailing play.....And I might as well add that their power ranking of their opponents before beating PIT & Boston was +1.3...(YES nearly 3 points stronger than the ODDS ON FAVS.of SB50...by 3 points. per game...

#5  Yep, even when all 11 defensive starters are healthy....against these weak sisters of the AFC south and NFC Least..how do they measure up as a the DEFENSE we should be traveling with for the Super Bowl50...They looked so damn Awesome tonite down 4 starters... Let's see Carolina is 4th best defense against the rush...not to bad..but then ATL19th, NO24th, JAX27th,, INDY29th,  are good teams to pad our stats with.
..Against the pass they were really outstanding (before they dropped 2 key possibly 3 key pass defenders....at  #15....by the way, would be power ranked just above 0 (the MEAN)....

#6     The Offense that ranks so high in scoring margin against these bad teams ( during the regular season) #1... but is  12th  in yards per game,  2nd in rushing (but then the QB accounts for 30%.. I can only assume mostly broken plays), Right?
...24th in passing ..Yes 24th ranked in passing yardage...I would have  thought in a passing league, with all this MVP talk...Carolina would be higher then 24th...especially given the quality of their schedule. 24th? that is the bottom of the 3rd tier... in passing yardage So looking deeper at the opponents..Yards against the pass  .NYG 32nd, NO 31st,JAX  30th, 25 percent of the season against the 3 worst teams against the pass... YET Carolina is  only 24th? Right? Impressive Right?  Let's see NE was 6th in Off.yardage not 12th,  31st in rushing, not 2nd, and #3 in passing not 24th....Now If Manning plays to this "forums press clippings" and as badly as Carson Palmer did tonight, I will lose these bets!!!

Gotta give credit where it is due. They definitely quieted the critics yesterday with a steam roll wire to wire. Great win for your team. And thanks for making me a fortune yesterday.

I am a Manning fan since he was a rookie, use to dislike DEN as a team but ever since Manning joined I have follow them closely, faded CAR more than once, took ATL ML and spread when they beat CAR, with all that said, I dont see how DEN would win this game unless they put together an AMAZING game plan and execute some amazing plays.
