Aaron Rodger’s isn’t the problem in my eyes, others will disagree. He’s been wanting this season to be great, even just a good one.. But, he can’t. Front office changes, coaching changes, etc.. Cannot and will not help. He needs solid teammates that are willing to put in the same amount of work and change these results! I feel terrible for him. Watching him shake his head and seeing the pain in his eyes, just makes me feel bad for him. He’s a HOF fuggin’ QB and NOBODY can disagree and tell me why not. Does he retire after this year? Does another franchise want him? I know Denver would be a good place to retire. Hell, We retired some solid players out here in Colorado. But we seem to excel in retiring QBs. I say, “let’s do it”!

I have been following the Jets all year. I have massive SB futures odds on them. Things dont look great so far, but you have to resist the temptation to be like the casual fans who follow the NFL on a weekly basis and remember the last thing that they see. Knee jerk reactions and media hype is to be avoided
The fact of the matter is, you have to look at this teams wins and losses. They beat two tomato can teams in the Patriots and the Titans. Their losses are:
1. Missed FG that would have beaten Denver (a game that should have never been this close, turns out Denver defense is actually quite good)
2. Rodgers uncharacteristically throws a pick 6, and they lose to Minn. Rodgers missed a late pass to Wilson that would have been a walk in TD
3. They outplayed the Bills in prime time, off a dead coach bounce. Breece rushes for > 100 yards, two 100 yard receivers, a rushing TD is called back on a BS holding call, and the kicker misses to chip shot field goals.
This team could be 1-5 or 5-1, realistically. I would say that their O-line has been average, and their run defense has been poor. They have had some key injuries (Jermaine Johnson loss was huge), the absence of Hassan Reddick hurts, and they just played several games without Morgan Moses. The team needs to get healthy, they need to pull the trigger on Reddick (either sign him or trade him for an edge rusher or offensive lineman). But overall, this doesn't fall on Rodgers. Everyone is so out to get this guy, saying that he had any say in the Robert Saleh firing. Aaron had a good relationship with Robert, he went to the Jets because he liked the coaching staff and culture, and even said that he was friends with Roberts family. He didn't throw Mike Williams under the bus, he was explaining that Williams ran the wrong route which let to the pick. The guy holds himself to the highest standard and those who are used to mediocrity look at him and want to talk crap about the guy.
Fact of the matter remains, he is a 40 year old QB coming off a serious injury, and obviously he does not have the mobility that he once had but he can absolutely still sling the ball and his accuracy and ball placement, in addition to his ability to dissect defenses is top notch. Look at his pass to Wilson last night on the move. I am keeping the faith. They play in a soft division and have one tough opponent coming up in like 6 games (Texans).

You also have to remember even against an elite defense in Denver scoring 9 pts is unacceptable with what the jets have on offense.
As for the Bills game you mention the bs holding call that took the TD away, but remember the only reason they were in that position is the bs roughing the passer on a clean as can be sack that extended their drive that shouldve been a 3 and out. Plus 7 of their points came via hail mary. The Jets offense is just not that good and I dont know how much better its going to be with Adams. That game actually should not have been that close. I think the Bills far outplayed them. But there were huge penalties called against both teams all game so how much can we really take away from that game other than both rush defenses are pretty bad. Ray Davis had over 100 scrimmage yds and i think 80 on the ground in the first half for Buffalo and Breece put in 113 on the ground for the Jets.
I dont know if you can even point to a single thing the Jets can fix. They are simply dysfunctional.

Here are some facts from someone who isn't a casual fan and looks at the bigger picture:
No team has lost four of their first six games and went on to win a Super Bowl s/'66.
Interim head coaches are 0-1 in the post-season s/'66.
Unless they lockdown the No. 1 seed, Ulbrich has to go 4-0 in the playoffs.
So in essence you're saying Jeff Ulbrich is going to re-write the path to the Super Bowl.

I’ve been talking about the Rogers Jets project on Twitter for the last 2 seasons. No playoffs last year and no playoffs this year. Rogers has been the most overrated nfl qb for a long time and now he’s a walking stiff. Jets are losers which matches up perfect with loser Rogers. M. Williams should call him out in private and knock out Rodgers set him in his loser place. Again Rodgers Jets project= LOSERS
