He hit one of the afternoon games (which he went big on) and also hit SNF. All in all probably lost about 5 units yesterday. Not as bad as people are making it seem. That’s the equivalent of going 0-1.
I had him at -38.5 on the season after the early games on Sunday. Stopped tailing then.
Guess he did better in the afternoon, but then down 12 more units on Jets +10 and ML.

seen this with suuma now LC. both went tout and now doing below average in picks. don't blame them for going tout, its income for them. blame yal for believing anyone who writes lengthy write ups for games and the pick doesn't even cash. seen this all before, goodluck to whatever you proceed to do, paying for picks has to be the craziest thing i've ever heard. if you KNOW you got winning picks, youll take out a mortgage and put it on your picks. but in reality, you don't have winning picks, just a ton of trends, stats and a well written write up for the game, but no guarantee winners, just the guaranteed suckers that pay for the picks LIKE ME and still end up losing.

I started this thread...I don't wish losses on anyone, we're all wanting to beat the books and it should be a brotherhood. I was really curious whether the pressure of producing for other people can mess up people's capping.
I've never paid for picks, but I used to pay attention to a guy who bills himself as the Wunderdog. He had a free pick in his newsletter every week, and every year his free picks would go 7-9, 8-8, never ahead, but his newsletter would claim he's hitting 60% in every sport. Now he's got a video pick in each newsletter, and he's a crazy-looking dude needing a shave in a hoodie in his basement. It cracks me up, video can't be good for these guys.

It seems to me if you fade him, you’d be up a ton, no? Agree with some others, the pressure from being a tout too much. All based on stats and yesterday’s news. Sure a capper can get hot but real long term winning comes from inside information if you can get it. Cheers.

I always see people saying that paying for picks is the craziest thing and never pay for picks, but I want to give my perspective on why I paid for his picks. I bought the whole season that was $999 and Covers had a first time buyer 50% discount - so I paid $500. I wouldn't have paid $999. The only reason I paid is because I tailed LC last season and ended the year up 40 units ($100 is one unit for me). I figured $500 is worth the 40 units we ended up last year, at least as a way to pay LC. I tailed him this year and got down 20 units before pulling the plug. So I'm still up over two seasons. This year didn't go as well as last year but I wish him the best. It's fun to talk shit, but I really do wish everybody the best. Fuck the books.

Doing the math, he's around -10x in NFL and +7.5 NBA. So if you tailed everything you're down around 2.5x plus the subscription. People like Race and I are down a ton more, probably closer to 25x because after we were down 40% or more of our bankroll after the -35x and subscription cost we stopped tailing. There are too many good cappers on this site to pay for picks. - Wizz_Kidd35, LuckyGuy, DavidN, EastsideBangers, SettledownSpaz, Redtear2989, and many nba/ncaab guys like Indie and Sing75 that hopefully come back. Those guys are the guys you wanna tail.
Can a swindler change his spots?

Yeah, learned my lesson. Not paying for picks again. Everybody was right. Appreciate the free picks last year LC. Best of luck the rest of the year with NFL.
Yeah, where the f*ck is Sing75 and NuSkool??

LC's a good capper. A very good capper, with a talent for breaking games down and finding edges. His writeups are excellent. His writeup for the Cleveland/Cincinnati game was spot on. I think he's going to have a very good year next year.
Suuma is having a good year, and he had a good one last year.
This forum has attracted some very talented handicappers. I wish BallinOnaBudget was still posting. He had great situational analysis.

You can think of me whatever you want, but please don't spread lies. Here are the records since I started my service:
2017: 73-54 +18.31u
2018: 63-50 +9.15u
2019 ytd: 62-48 +11.2u
I beat the closing line consistently and generate good closing line value (1.84% no-vig Pinnacle closer vs. my no-vig release price this year) which is the only (and best) way to evaluate a handicapper without a big sample size.
Why do I sell picks and information? I am a very risk-averse person, I only bet NFL (yet) and don't have the bankroll to make a living with ~130 picks per year. Professional sports bettors bet several sports throughout a year and grind out their profit via volume. When I grind out 7 to 10 percent ROI in football consistently, everyone wins.
Most people who charge for picks are idiots who flip coins, I get that. But there is a small percentage of people where it works out well in the long run. That's something folks need to accept.
I wish everyone on here a Happy New Year and much success in the playoffs!
