Ravens offense with Lamar Jackson and his RPO's is more difficult to defend and Dolphins obviously were not prepared. They game planned to stop
his running and he made them pay with the RPO's throws and it snowballed once they were up by 3 -4 TD's. If they played again it would not be a blowout.
Dolphins have 2 elite corners in Howard & Fitzpatrick...Dolphins coach knows the Patriots schemes and offense. Patriots will win but I don't think it will be a blowout of 3 TD's+...It will be close to the number and we could see a back door cover..

NFL is a week to week league. NO team is as good or as bad as the previous week. This is not college football where you have Clemson or Alabama
vs a conference opponent and their is a huge talent disparity....Fitzpatrick lead a Tampa team into New Orleans and won outright as 10 point dogs 1st game last season and threw for 400 yards and 4+TD's....

Also should be noted Belichick seems to go easy on his former coaches. I doubt if the Pats are up 14 late in the 4th they try and score a TD as opposed to just kick a FG. I don't think he'd try and embarrass a coach who could easily get fired after this season if they get blown out every week.

The Dolphins would win by five TD's.
Histrionic personality disorder. It's sad

Will they play AB? also will he be focused and playbook ready? there’s A LOT to take in to account here.. same with dolphins..players wanting out it’s definitely hard to gauge this game for me any other time I would take the double digit dog in divisional against pats just because it’s a lot of points and a perfect time to bring it to the pats after getting smashed vs Baltimore and NE smashing on Steelers

If it was a preseason game, it would be 50-50. If it counted for the regular season, the Dolphins would win 80% of the time. People don't understand what it means for a college team to have 5 first round draft picks like Bama and Clemson have EVERY YEAR.

This looks like a perfect over reaction spread after 1 week of the NFL schedule, set up to absolutely screw the public. Yes the Dolphins suck, but these are professional athletes. They are also union brothers. I remember last year when the Bills looked like garbage after 2 games and were 17 point dogs on the road in Minnesota. They promptly went into Minnesota and won straight up.
I certainly would be cautious laying 18 points + on the road against any divisional rival in this league. Add to the mix the Patriots have always had a tough time playing in Miami.
— Patriots are 1-6 ATS in their last seven meetings in Miami
— Patriots are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a losing home record
— Dolphins are 7-2 ATS in their last nine home games vs. a team with a winning road record
Last year, the Pats rolled into Miami in early December as 9 1/2-point road favorites and lost the game, 34-33. The year before that, New England was installed as a 10 1/2-point favorite and lost that contest by the score of 27-20.

Just hope the Patriots don't take the Ravens 59 as a challenge...
New England ain't looking ahead to the Jets...
Something tells me if I watched the replay of the Ravens it would cause great pause, but I have to take the points and hope anything resembling a professional football team shows up... Bellichek going to rub his formers assistants face in it? NO. I'm sure he hears of a near mutiny, if NE blows them out there's gotta be a problem and this would be one game closer to it if they lose by 50 again.
Here's an angle for you. Your on the team getting 18.5. Would that not inspire you as a professional that we're being insulted for a bad game the prior week? +18.5 at home? An NFL team?
How about if your favored by 18.5? First of all, unmotivated and put to sleep... I know they're professional players and certainly our side of this doesn't matter much, but that spread is still there and in our age, they all know it.
I took Pitt last week and I've always believed you don't bet against Brady - WHEN IT MATTERS, obviously I was wrong last week.
This game doesn't matter and that's a ridiculous line for an NFL team. I can live with losing on Miami and not NE.

I went opposite of everyone here. I hopped on the line early and took the Pats -17. The dolphins are not the same team who managed in years past to keep the score close.
This dolphins team is depleted, and focused on the draft. The Ravens were leading the Dolphins 42-10 at halftime. The last time the Dolphins and Patriots played, the Dolphins won 34-33 with the “Miracle in Miami” lateral pass with time expiring. The time before that the Patriots won 38-7. This is not the same Dolphins team as last year who was able to compete.
Last years Dolphins team had Cameron Wake, Ryan Tannehill, Frank Gore, Danny Amendola, Kenny Stills, Laremy Tunsil, Kiko Alonso, an entirely rebuilt and an much better O-line.
The 2019 Dolphins have NO will to win. The players who aren’t requesting trades are just showing up for a paycheck. There is no plan in Miami on actually competing this year.
Pats win 38-10 as Belichick tries to keep the score respectable to a former coach.

Youve obviously never been around any type of college or pro football team. Just look at these college teams after the 1st few top guys and then hopefully you'll realize what an utterly ridiculous statement you made above.
The lack of intelligence, yet abundance of arrogance, of such a huge number of people on this forum is simply amazing. So many of you literally know nothing yet make up these fairy tales in your head then try and project them to others as knowledge

Easy money
I’m a Dolphins fan but they’re trash. Expect Josh Rosen to be the starting quarterback moving forward and for the dolphins offense to be slightly more productive next week. With that said, I’m excited to see what the Dolphins Cowboys spread will be. Going against the Phins all year til they cover.

Dont take this the wrong way Brother
But
If you think any NFL team would lose to a college squad you should NEVER BET ON FOOTBALL AGAIN .....
Dolphins 64-6. Vs Clemson or Bama ..Phins can only run
Dolphins 93-0 vs clemson or bama, if the Phina are allowed to pass
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!
