I agree. I considered the Cowboys -3 for Survivor on here but of course the consensus is keeping the play from being available. I don't see a good reason to pick against the Cowboys right now. Yes, Minnesota's defense is tough and sure, it's hard to win on the road in the NFL. I still think Dallas is too damn hot to pick against.

Dallas could possibly be the 1st team to clinch a playoff spot this week with a win and some help. Does that make them more motivated knowing this? or will the pressure be a bit overwhelming on the 1st try?

Maybe they lose to the Vikes and clinch a playoff spot against their rival Giants next week or.... lose 2 in a row to make the NFC Playoff picture interesting thus Seahawks and Cowboys will be neck and neck for home field advantage. The NFC East will be a tight race. There are no runaways in football unless you are the Patriots

Big Cowboys fan here. I keep expecting this team to falter at some point, and they just refuse to lose. They have really caught lightning in a bottle. I don't think any team can stop this offense. They are simply a well oiled machine.

Arizona and Chicago both had a lot of success on the ground against the Vikings. You can expect Dallas to have the same success. After seeing Dak respond to everything the Eagles and Ravens had to offer, it's tough to see them not being able to put up 24-31 points even against this Vikings defense. The running threat of Dak is going to really bother Vikings game plan. They like to get pressure with their 4 lineman and drop everyone else into coverage. I just don't think you can stop the Cowboys like that. Dak will be able to use his legs and get first downs. This team is designed to beat teams like the Vikings. I actually think Washington and Pitt were the games Dallas should have lost.

The Vikings could win in this spot at home in prime time considering Dallas has really only played one bad game since the Giants loss, and they somehow own it (Eagles). I just think Dallas is going to play a deep zone and let Bradford dink and dunk them into field goals. Diggs is a real problem. I expect him to get 8-12 receptions for 100 yards.Will it be enough though? The only game the Vikings have won in the last 5 weeks took a 100 yard pick six and a kick off return. I won't be surprised if this is a 24-20 type of game. Close cover for Dallas.

Yes. Huge letdown/division sandwich. They hadn't won on Thanksgiving for ages, finally got that, vs a div opponent to boot, and after this week they have the biggest game left on their schedule - @NYG, the only team to beat them. They're going to be treating this like a bye. Plus Minny can stop the run and Dallas's pass D is trash. So the Boys best attribute can be negated and the Vikings short pass game might actually get downfield more.

Long time lurker here but I'm just now signing up for covers. I honestly don't know how anyone could back Minnesota. The cowboys will absolutely steamroll the Vikings on Thursday, any one crazy enough to put money against the cowboys deserves to lose

Honestly, Minny jumped out at me as NFL games rarely do. Absolute perfect situation in every single way IMO. Things aligned so that they both have a weeks rest even(I avoid 95% of TNF games because it's usually a couple teams playing off 3 days rest).

Rare 2 unit play for me split up evenly over 3.5 and ML.

Vikings rush defense is middle of the pack. Teams have had success running against them recently. The only worry I have is of Dak throwing a couple to the other team. This is far and away the best secondary he has faced. But there have already been a few early games where he didn't even look Dez's way. This team really seems to find a way on offense no matter what. We all keep waiting for Dak to make mistakes and the guy just doesn't.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the fact that Zimmer used to be on the dallas cowboys as a defensive coordinator ..... I'm pretty sure he knows Jason garret inside and out IMO

I think Dallas is close to bulletproof. And its because of the young team. They dont care about spots and they have been winning with ease. The Redskins were as live a dog as you can get prolific offense and division game on primetime and they barely covered. I could see dallas methodically controlling this game and winning 27-10 without breaking a sweat.

I think a very good defense on the road will give the cowboys some issues.. think the Vikings get it done...

The skins were a public dog and no way the books were gonna hand out treats like that. They did however hand out the cover to even things out from Detroit covering, but no way they would give up that money line when they know everyone will be on dallas the following week agaianst a team that just lost and at A very short line. Everyone will be on dallas -3 and buying hooks and playing money line. This will be tge ultimate SLAUGHTER OF THE YEAR if dallas loses. I took my kc money line money and rolled it to gb money line and now I have rolled it all to minny money line. Oh and 3 team money line parlay and 3 team ats parlay which I might hedge for insurance.

The best team in the NFL by a country mile is going to be routed by a team led by Sam Bradford, With an offense that views a 15 yard screen to Matt Asiata as a big play, Now i've seen it all, Not a chance in hell.

I lost 114 units a couple weeks ago ( yes that hurts like heck) but it was after crushing the week prior which is why I lived to tell the tale, by I am on my way back out of the whole and if minny wins tomorrow then it never happened.

Still liking minny for sure, unfortunately lines at 3 at the moment. Given my history of pushing a ridiculous amount of times on mind and TNF this year I'll prolly finally invest in the hook

The cowboys rely on the run to hit the big pass plays. Minn may have a really good front 4, but Dallas has a GREAT set of OL on top of a great RB and great receiver in Dez. Its just too many for Minn for the entire game. If Dallas scores early....hard to see Minn coming back. If Dallas struggles early, they will still win as Minn has a hard time putting up points.
