I have to say the Superbowl was a great game to watch. Having said that I can't help but think there were several very fishy things that make you think some money was changing hands. 1. Seattle not calling time out with less then 3 minutes when NE was driving for the eventual winning score. They had 3 time outs plus the 2 minute warning and they are letting the clock run? 2. New England not calling time out when Seattle got to 2nd and goal from the 1 and they let the time run down to 40 seconds. What happens if Seattle runs it in then? You have like 30 seconds to go the length of the field when you have completed what 2 passes over 10 yards all game and had 2 passes picked? It was like Belichek knew they were going to do something stupid. 3. What the hell was going through either the OC or Pete Carroll's head throwing a pass there. They have the beast who rarely gets stopped before 3 yards and they had 2 shots to get it done. Run an option for your very mobile QB who can pass or run it in, QB sneak who have been a decent option too all he has to do is reach the ball one yard and over the goal line. Two hands on the ball and one small seam and you are in. How can 2 coaches considered to be a couple of the best in the league do such brain dead things in the biggest game of them all.
