My first impression after looking at the lines is this will be another tough week.  I'm automatically fading Johnny and the Browns.  Home advantage is all they've got.  The Niners are clearly playing better football right now.  I'll take a shot with Atlanta getting more than a touchdown as well.  Divisional game so Atlanta may be able to scheme better for them.  Other picks I need to wait on for line movements in my favor.

Think Shaub is a go but if not, then it's Jimmy Clausen. 

Sea O is on a roll now with better protection and running game.  Their D usually feasts on weak QB this yr, Clausen 0, Kapernick 3, Weeden 12, and Gabbert 13 pts against them.  No letdown for Sea as still chasing #1 WC, that's HUGE this yr as that's playing at futile East Div Champ vs. likely at GB.

Balty games has been close this yr (only one has been decided by  more than 6 pts) but can see this one getting away quickly.

Lions pick at rams
BS face mask and hail Mary cost them 3 in a row. Rams can't move the ball if ya stack the box and shutdown  Gurley. Stafford and CJ playing better of late as is the D. Just dump it to Riddick if ya want to run.

Hey B, I had the Seahawks penciled in at -9. If the line winds up near that, there's tremendous value taking a shot with the Ravens, but IMO Seattle is finally starting to roll on all cylinders and they aren't a team I'm fading under any circumstances. I don't believe I can back them, but I'm not fading them. 

You have any thoughts on the Giant/Dolphin game?

Honestly no lean at all, but I'm tailing you on it!!!
Dolphins are my home team, but I have Giants to go deep...

Ravens haven't lost a game by more then 6 all year I think or maybe once. Let's see where the line ends up. Gosh I can't pass up a big line. Line is moving a lot daily...

Be careful here.   Ravens have been gutted by injuries, and we saw last week what the Seahawks can do to a shorthanded team.   I was big on Seattle last week, but I hate the idea of laying a TD on the road.   Gonna think about it some more, but it's Seattle or no play for me.

BTW I remember the game a couple of years ago, Hawks @ Texans.   Texans had a 20-3 HT lead, then the Hawks came back to win the game in OT, 23-20.   There was only 2 or 3 mins left in the game, when Schaub threw a pick-6 that allowed Hawks to tie the game.   IMO that was the Beginning of the End for Schaub in Houston

BTW  it looks like the Cards might be the best play of the week, because Minny's D has a bunch of injuries.   I don't think depleted Vikes can stop Cards offense, and Teddy B isn't the kind of QB to keep up w/Palmer in a shootout.   Gonna think about it some more, but I have strong initial lean to Cards

2 statement games in a row against elite teams. I don't see a third against a bottom feeder. I would just a win would do... Who knows

How bout Arizona, last year teams that played Seattle always lost the following week.
Seattle is back to being Seattle they beat the snot out of Minny.

I agree plus Seattle put a beatn on them last week

Line is 8.5 in the paper today, and I sill don't have a line available at my book. last 4 meetings the home team won the game. Dates back like 20 years and different teams and all. I'm relying more on the points being a factor being that it is late in he season. Seattle needs the win and that's really about it.

My book finally dropped a Seattle line. Seattle -9. 

Great value with Baltimore, but like I said earlier in the week.....Seattle is rolling and in their championship run they have been doing the last 2-3 years. A good QB that airs the ball out....they have shown they can beat the Seahawks, but Baltimore with Straub.....or HIS backup.....

Most likely gonna pass on this one, and kick myself in the leg Sunday afternoon when it's a 31-6 final.
