I got on this before the 2nd Wilson int. I personally just don't see the logic of "seahawks have to make this close"

well considering how far off i was on this one, although it now looks like the rare case that a playoff opener was way off, if they finally give carolina some respect, i agree with T6 that it should be 3.  and while i still think AZ is the best team in the league, i don't see how you can bet against carolina at home at 3 or less no matter who they are playing.

I already had Car +7.5 in a large teaser.  Took Sea +18.5 small hoping for a middle.  Anything can happen but this is getting out of control quick!

Really hope it's the night game. Think I posted last week that these Pacific time zone teams are pretty dominant playing late games in the Eastern Time Zone. I still remember when Arizona was 10 points dogs to this same Carolina team their Super Bowl year.

someone said the AZ/Carolina line was 3 before this game. so maybe carolina will be 4 to 4.5 .  i just don't know how high it can be.  if carlina was -2/2.5 over seattle and AZ is better than seattle, which they are, how much more than 3 can it be?

I dont know of any evidence of this.  It sounds cool - but is it reality?

Haven't Played much NFL, but have a feeling Seahawks make this closer than 27.5, and was thinking of jumping on that before the NHL day kicks off

Seattle was steamed from the opening on 5 dimes.

Didn't plan on posting here today, and it's easy to say now, but I even would have taken a shot on Seattle ML at +4000.

$2.50 to win $100 might be worth a shot. They probably won't win, but based on the line movement I think they'll cover the second half -6, and maybe even give Carolina a run for their money. Probably lose by 10 eventually.

Under NO circumstances should seattle burn a TO in the 3rd qtr.

ON a 3rd and 24?

Take the delay and make it 3rd and 29 if you have to.

They let 40 secs run off the clock, and then called TO.

Gotta love how in football....

Some old official runs out and puts his foot where he thinks the ball was down.

Then he puts the ball down basically where his foot was.

Then they run out with chains that were positioned in the first place where some guy 25 yards away from the ball put his foot down.

Then get on your hands and knees to see if the ball is past the pole or not.

It is comical.

spotting the ball is about as scientific as pass interference or a hit on a defenseless receiver.

Told you guys. Prob lose by 10. Carolina will burn  couple of mins off the clock here. Wilson will probably have about 3-4 mins to work with.

Seattle will get the ball back one last time, but they'll fail to score. It'll likely be a pick on a long throw.
