Colts are definitely overvalued to win the south. -160 says they most likely win. They could do it but, the same could be said for the other teams. no value left on the colts. jags at 5-1 is tempting.

People forget the Jaguars went to the AFC championship game 2 years ago. The defense is basically intact. Scoring points will continue to be a trouble spot. Foles is an upgrade over Bortles, but all of the skill position players are long on potential but short on production. I believe that Indy is the team to beat, but not paying -160 in a division which is truly up for grabs.

With you on cleveland but football outsiders ratings look suspect, steelers at 5? after losing ab and ol coach munchak, saints and rams at 1 and 4 with all the major regression indicators both are showing?

I respect your thoughts in this thread, but I beg to differ ... The Colts are streets ahead of the Jaguars and the Titans and better than the Texans ... I think they definitely win the division ... Reiterating post #11, they have 21 starters coming back ... They have a top 10 defence ... Also a top 5 - 7 Offence ... Sure they are going to need to protect Luck and hope he doesn't get injured (again) because if he does, then they "might" be in a bit of trouble, but you could have said that about 9 of the past 10 super bowl winners ... In saying that, I will go as far as to say that even if Luck does go down for the season, the Colts will be fine, with potentially, one of the best back up quarterbacks in the league, if not "the best" Mr Jacoby Brissett ...
I wouldn't be surprised if they are already "protecting"" luck by not playing him in the pre season ... Why f#ck around with your "top gun" in meaningless pre season games ... Time will tell ...

This ^^^ However, I'd even venture to say the defense has the potential to be top 5 this season with all they've added in the last couple years and how they've focused on building entire units. Their offense looks to easily be a top 5 performer this season as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Colts average 30+ ppg on the offensive side, and with their defense (again, will probably excel above Jacksonville), I'm going as far to say that not only are the Colts not overhyped, they're still probably being discounted and overlooked to a degree considering the emergence of Mahomes and the KC offense, plus the always-in-contention Patriots.
I prefer to read between the lines when it comes to season win projections, Super Bowl odds, etc. - so in the case of Indy, being as relatively small market at they are, the fact that their odds to win the AFC and Super Bowl are so low tells me that oddsmakers have very good reason to place them there, because they sure as hell aren't going to garner a huge line at the clerk's desk to place futures on them.
AFC's best are without a doubt, in my eyes, New England, KC, and Indy.
The NFC championship still looks to be going through either LA, New Orleans, or Philly. The Bears will undoubtedly face serious regression on the defensive side of the ball, and I don't see their offense ever being good enough to compliment the D when they'll need to step up.
Good luck to you this season, DUP.

They have alot of hype but they deserve to be divisional favourites.
If you don't see them winning the south then who do you see? Watson has been great but with that crap offensive line can he really keep up? Both have below average secondaries.

The 2018 Texans:
•played the easiest schedule of QBs in the past 4+ yrs
•faced just 2 QBs who finished above avg in success rate
•faced 9 backups/rookies
•had NFL's easiest overall schedule
2019 will be VERY different facing the #1 toughest schedule.
