Seems every year one or two teams start the season strong. We know they suck, don't have the talent of other teams in their division or conference but they seriously over perform. Can it be smoke and mirrors? Trick plays, good coaching or a bad division? Very rarely do you see two bad teams in the same division but with the horrible ownership of the cowboys and redskins along with the QB situation in Dallas, these medicore teams may continue to flourish for long enough to actually make the playoffs, I'm not sold on Jalen hurts continuing this super play mode he is on, he's not terrible but not a top 15 QB in my opinion and giants are straight up trash for the exception of their running back

If u watched the Vikings yesterday.. right before the half Cousins threw a pass to Irv Smith Jr and he dropped a would be TD that would have made the score 24-14. Vikings then had the ball 4 more times inside the Eagles 20 in the 2nd half and Cousins choked with 3 INT’s.

He's looking sharp this year. He's converting 3rd n longs with relative easy. His reads and passes look good. And his line is giving him ample time to throw.
And he has his running ability in his back pocket.
The Eagles should clean up the offensive lineman downfield mistakes on rpo's I would think.

Great points made here. The Eagles appeared to be playing excellent football, but all you really saw was Minnesota playing some of the worst football you could imagine. That's the type of game you'd like to see play out 10 times over and see what would happen. Jalen Hurts appeared to be playing great football, but in reality some of the guys on this forum could have completed those passes. The Vikings ridiculously soft zone coverage was allowing 10+ yards of separation on almost every play. Even Troy Aikman couldn't stop talking about how they never changed their strategy no matter how many times it failed. The coaching was awful and then you throw in Kirk Cousins under pressure trying to force throws. And the Eagles still could have blown it. If the Vikings had capitalized on one or two of the 10 major mistakes that the Eagles made, that game could have been totally different. There's no reason to believe in Philly just yet.

Hard to tell this early especially when they havn't played anyone, (and the Eagles barely beat my Lions). I will say this year has been a mess so far.. a lot of 0-2 starts that shouldn't have happened. Colts joke Bengals joke Lions maybe? lol

Lions barely lost games alot last year. They still lost.
The W is more significant than how.

Eagles are for real, Giants are not....but they're getting better
Eagles have one of the best o-lines in football. Hurts is a great leader and getting better as a QB. Their WR corps is very skilled and balanced. Biggest worry for them is their defense. LB's are solid and the secondary is ok. When they won the SB a few years back a lot of it had to do with their d-line being able to just rush 4 and create pressure. I don't know if the players they have now can replicate that. When Fletcher Cox was in his prime and paired with Timmy Jernigan they ate up so much space along the interior and the OT's got zero help allowing Brandon Graham and Chris Long to feast. The offense will rack up yards, but they go as far as their defense.
Giants have gotten better on the o-line, especially at OT. They need to let Saquon go in the offseason, no sense paying an RB a lot of money if you're o-line can open up holes for anyone. Daboll should be their coach for years. They just need to move off of Daniel Jones, he's been in the league long enough to not make mind-numbingly bad mistakes that he often makes. He had one throw on Sunday where he basically just threw it to the Panthers corner in zone coverage, but there was no Giants receiver in sight. Getting a legit QB would do wonders for NYG

Lions are a lot better than a lot of NFL teams they are just getting started wait till they get the deep threat in Jameson Williams on the field.

The giants defense is for real that's for sure. No Thibs and Ojulari and they still look legit, just wait till they come back. Could easily be a top 5-10 Defense throughout the year
The offense needs some time to click, I dont know why I see all the giants hate on this thread.. they got playmakers they just arent properly utilizing them. Its only week 3, very long season ahead of us. I guess we will find out
