I have been betting soccer.  I haven't been posting picks.

In the womens game tonight - I really like England.  Took them NTL (not to lose, or PK) at +177.  I really think they have a good chance to win outright in 90.

I will definitely be on Chile at +.5 -120 in the Copa Final.

And don't forget about the 3rd place Peru / Paraguay over 3!!!

England definitely looked impressive today. I personally went Japan Team Total Over 0.5 or 1 today. But England looked a little faster & stronger than them. & I think USA might be even faster & even stronger lol. Therefore..

Although it might seem like an "obvious pick" for the Finals I am thinking USA. England's athleticism made it hard for Japan to get real Goal-Scoring Chances (scored on a PEN and an OG)  -- but if it goes to PKs the poised Japan side might be worth a Live Wager. Japan is crafty though, so a mental lapse on defense by USA would be the only real concern.

**** & In your opinion does OVER in the 3rd place game "rule" apply for the Women's Cups as well? lol


And as for the Copa, I feel like Argentina at full strength is playing really well and is guaranteed Goal-Scoring Chances against anyone right now. Colombia's tough overly-fouling defense shut them out, but even that game Argentina had a few really good chances. I haven't watched Chile a lot, but I didn't think they dominated much vs Peru while it was 11vs10. Peru was still somehow getting some chances & with an extra man Chile should've looked better than they did. I did notice though the home-team Chile has looked really good statistically this Copa.


Anyways, in summary I was leaning towards the determined ARG (to lift the cup) but could also potentially see Chile +0.5 in 90 minutes. Any angles or insight as to why you are taking/leaning Chile? Would be great to hear..

P.S. that does NOT mean you must write a longggg explanation as I know you sometimes feel obligated to do hahaha -- any brief insight is more than sufficient

They are expecting more people than last year, prize pool will be easily over $2 Million

Lets get a regular thread started for the Westgate supercontest .. I know it is early, but the excitement has already started :-)

Should a fun year with a huge prize pool might get to $3 Million

What would be really, really nice for the site would be to add this contest to  the contest on the site with the actual point spreads from the Westgate contest.

I do not thing Westgate can do that because of Nevada Gaming rules but its definitely a good idea

If Westgate can not do it the site could, just add it to the other contest but with the actual spreads from the contest.
