I’m afraid their streak ends Sunday 

this niners team is all about defense, and they’re not good against mobile QB and not a legit pass defensive team, they’re good at pass rush and rushing d…..look at their home game against KC

I haven’t watched Philly game at all but assuming their D is similar/better than Dallas…..I think purdy will be in trouble again, only protecting the ball not gonna help much 

thoughts???

Can you really call yourself a niners fans? Your already projecting a loss. For a game where the spread will be = or less than 3 by gametime. Pretty much a coinflip. Sheesh!

agree, i think the eagles pass rush + hurts ability to scramble and convert third downs are the difference makers. 

Pretty much sum it up ... I have watched a lot of game Purdy play in College. He often failed to do well in big game. He would throw a few picks in those games. Especially, when he has to do too much (aka carry the load). If the game goes that way, I think the Niners will be in trouble. The similar trait could also say for Hurts but he is a more athletic player, and he has better offensive weapons than Purdy.

Both teams are good, just pick the home team under a field goal either way (or ML if you can afford the juice). No need to overthink.

If Jeff Saturday can go blow for blow with the eagles, I’m not worried about Shanahan

 I haven’t watched much about purdy but from what I saw last game vs Dallas , he keep rolling to the left under pressure, that’s not gonna help when he needs to make a completion, maybe he can avoid the sack….but nearly impossible to make a throw

The two teams are so evenly match on both sides of the ball except two big factors. At QB and home field. Huge advantage at QB

 I don't know if you watched much NCAAF but Purdy last season at Iowa State was a major disappointment. I, in fact, bet on them with the believe that Purdy will do better than his 2020 season but he always make critical mistake in crucial moment. You might think Purdy is better than Hurts in college but it might not be true. While Alabama has second option to go to at QB and can keep Hurts on the bench, Iowa state has no better option but to keep playing Purdy. I am not saying Purdy is bad all the time but he is not playing well under pressure. On the Niners game against the Cowboys last Sunday, Purdy was not comfortable under pressure and he almost throw a few picks. On the other hand, Hurts tend to make mistake when trying to 'force' thing. Let's see how they both play this Sunday.

 It is how you look at offensive scheme and how they will beat the other defense. It is much harder to defend the Eagles with the two all pro wide-outs with a dual threat QB than against the Niners run-first offensive team with a less mobile QB. Dallas defense in a way stopped the Niners's offense last week-end. It was Dak's turn-over that cost them the game.

 In a lot of ways Dan Quinn is a much better DC than Philly’s Gannon. Dan Quinn had inside information on Shanahan due to their previous coaching stint in Atlanta. Eagles won’t play defence as well as Dallas did last week. I think the cowboys would’ve beat the eagles had they advanced

i remember him being a good situational bet in college. always had a big game receiver to catch his passes in tight coverage. agree that the going will be tough for him the further he gets into the playoffs. no longer will the niners offense be able to put up 30+ points a game now with the top defenses on deck.
