I pretty much lose the majority of the bets I make regarding the NFL. Mostly because I bet on the Texans and lose everytime. But I remember the one bet I made a few weeks back was Bengals +9 versus Baltimore. I thought Bengals would easily cover so I watched the whole damn game and Bengals seemed to dominate the game completely except for the score.
Here is why I lose so many NFL bets because I play the connect the dot game. You know Baltimore beat Denver and Denver beat Cincy then Balt should kill Cincy. What a load of crap. It is all about matchups. And the Bengals +3 is frickin crazy to me. I would bet them -3. But what do I know I am a perennial loser.
Yeah if you got the this team beat that team so this team should beat this team logic you should quit gambling. I'd lay 2.5 with the Bengals in this spot. Love getting 3, ridiculous. Extremely underrated. Someone said everyone high on Bengals because of the Bears game. BULLSHIT. I know they have played their share of close games. The Denver lost by the way was a fluke play to beat them at the very end of the game. They still lost but still. They have played their share of close games I agree. But the offense has finally showed me that they are starting to click. If anyone remembers how good the offense of 2005 was, this is what the offense is really starting to remind me of. Remember Carson Palmer didn't play preseason, didn't play all of last year. He is really in my opinion just now getting back into the groove of things. Plus he has had a bum ankle, now I think its finally started to heal up so I think whatever mobility he has is back, and his movement and the pocket is much swifter and easier. They have loads and loads of talent.
