Buffalos 38 to 10 against Raiders last week. Buffalo 37 to 3 against the Redskins today. Miami +2.5 the play?
That's what I'm thinking.
My only concern is the 50 point win Miami had over Denver today. A win of that magnitude is rare and I don't know what effect it could have on "the rule".

You may be correct, but I doubt when the people came up with that rule they expected to be betting on a team that almost broke the record for most points in NFL history 70-20.
Still a rule is a rule. It hits a good percentage, but it still loses. There's usually going to be an inflated line for the team that you're suppose to fade, but it feels like Miami may be getting inflation after that performance.

Miami offense is so efficient. Imo, they have the best overall team in the AFC. If Tua is healthy, team will go far. Bills defensive weakness is speed and quick efficient throws... just my two cents.

Sam Howell was complete garbage. He has a rag arm. Dolphins almost beat the Bills at home in the playoffs with Skylar as QB and the WR’s dropped damn near everything. Good weather I will take the points.

He’s passed on certain games in the past where the rule applied, correct? If so, I would think this could potentially be one of them? Bator please?

I don't think Bator ever claim he invented the rule, he just brought the rule to everyone's attention on this site

It works because the disparity of talent in the NFL isn't huge regardless of there being bad teams. When a team dominates a couple games in a row they are often not only drained but the line is overinflated leading to not covering. I would stay away from Miam here though after than game. If I coulkd get 3 and I had to play it I would take Miami

@Wizerguy
I know guys on both teams. I am flying up for the game. I do love that quote tho. It looks like it might get to 3 with the early action on the Bills. It will be the game of the week.

The whole point of the double blowout rule is the winning team gets complacent after two easy wins and listens to the media stroke them all week. The spread gets inflated too. I don’t see that situation with this upcoming game

this is true but the system and data has such a strong history its still a plug and play. If you have concerns reduce the units or pass. I dont have concerns because long term these are winners.
If I lose its okay with me.

Whatever it is that Dave Cokin said back in the early 90s when most of us were kids or not yet born, I'm sure it didn't have my 30/10 parameters. Does anyone know any specifics about this "Twin Peaks" angle?

No credit is due to Dave Cokin as far as I'm concerned because I'd never heard of his fuckin' "Twin Peaks." OKAY, Mr. I Just Like To Give Credit Where Credit Is Due and Cite My Sources, lol?
