WTF? THey score a TD and go up 9-7 and Nagy elects to go for 2? Why? Their kicker didn't miss anything today and already made a field goal. You're inside a dome with no wind so why go for 2 in the first half to go up 4 as opposed to 3??
Considering Bears were -2.5 favs and then -3 favs like wtf is that bull? Makes no sense.

You are going to see many more coaches and teams go for 2 moving forward as the analytics and geeks have "determined" its the right move based on overall game theory...i think its a crock of shiit but im not a millenial, so i guess this will become the norm soon...which obviously will make betting this sport far more volatile and will create more sheep chasing bad ingame wagers with bad ingame lines.

Actually what will eventually happen is the league will morph into more 2pt play specialists...look for 6'8 or taller athletes to turn to football in hopes to become that go to guy in the endzone for those 2pt play jump balls vs the 5'10 helpless db...those days are coming

That's so stupid. Some coaches must smoke some garbage stuffs before the game or something. They can just kick the Xpoint and up by 3. Hope Detroit wins by 1.

they did it everytime they scored a td vs minny on sunday. however those plays looked more fluid. this one looked like a reach (no pun intended)
ended up costing me the under as they scored the duece all 3 tds they scored.
i must say that it def changed the mindset vs vikes as they seemed to panic when the bears went for it and then when they were down by 2 scores the panic was there again.

He’s making the correct assumption that this won’t be the last time the Bears score in the game. And with getting possession in the second half they might be able to score twice unanswered.
If you make the 2 or conv and then next possession kick a FG you’re up 7.
If you make it you also are still in the lead if the Lions kick a FG on their next score of which there is a high probability.
If you miss it, you’re still up 2 and if on next possession you score TD and kick the extra point you’re now up by two scores (9 points). If you get a FG then you’re up 5 and force Lions to score a TD.
Not that crazy of a move.

I guess you guys haven’t been following the Bears. Parker missed 2 XP last meeting vs Detroit. Offense hit 3 or last 3 two point tries before missing that one.
It appears the Bears are more comfortable hitting 50% of 2 point tries vs sub 100% XP tries

I've been following the game.
Neither team is easily moving the ball.
Points are at a premium.
Scoring from the 3 when you cannot move the ball easily is millennial thinking.

At the end how they mind fukked parkey to go kick that last fg for the longest of his career. All those 2 pt conversions have him on the edge of his seat, but nagy is daring to be an innovator here?
Maybe this is a counter to the move the nfl did moving back the extra point try.

I guess the big question is, can we move on past the millennials? What a joke that generation is.
...and the generations to follow this one are royally screwed because of their selfishness and feeling of entitlement...the robots will take over once the millenials all check themselves into safe rooms
