I wrote a post in DoubleUp4Life’s thread talking about bait and so far in the first three games, the bait was just that....BAIT!
In the Indy/Houston game Watson talking about not losing by double digits ever.....well....we saw what happened. 29th worst red zone defense against the 5th best red zone offense.....Colts exposed them.
In the Dallas/Seahawks game, two words for ya...Russell Wilson. Big time bait yet people overlooked Zeke and that great defense.
I’m the Ravens/Chargers game....what was the bait you ask? 3 weeks ago folks. To think Rivers and co wouldn’t make adjustments and let s rookie qb beat them again....no way.
Again...I had stated this in Doubles thread and in LCs. It’s theres.
So 3 for 3 on finding the bait. One more to go....
Bears/Eagles...where is the bait? The media has pounded it into the heads of the viewers as have the people on this site. Nick Foles is the Eagles best qb and what he abd the Eagles did last year was awesome. That was LAST YEAR though. This is not the same Eagles team as last year and they aren’t gonna jump up on anyone by surprise. You have a hungry head who knows Dougy very well and you have Fangio who is the best d coordinator in the league. Foles in a pocket guy and that’s a problem going up against this Bears defense. Lastly, almost everyone THINKS trubisky is gonna ruin this game. We’ll see.....

You got McCauley (ex ref) Al, Chris and even the entire Eagles team thinking that was a catch, fumble yet no clear recovery and after 4 minutes of reviewing it Corrente slurs his words and has no explanation? Really? Of course I’m a Bears fan but they screwed that up bad. Bears should have had the ball inside the 5. Oh well.

I still don't even think they knew what the call was there? To me it makes alot more sense that Chicago would get the ball where the fumble occured since they called it a catch. How can a catch be called incomplete?

That blown call will be examined for years....regardless who wins...that was a catch 100%...3 feet down...then fumbled...the ref recovered so it goes to the home team...everyone knows thats the zebra home field in effect rule
But yeah...this league is beyond reality calling that an incomplete...can of worms now officially opened for future replay calls of what a catch/fumble is...however its unlikely neither team will pick up a dead looking ball ever again...what a blown call overall

It was 100% a catch, but it was also a fumble. There were no one but Eagles players around the ball, but no one is gonna go run over and pick it up if the refs are calling it incomplete and call the play dead.

So they just went deep into the rule book and confirmed the refs got it correct. If the refs would stop blowing plays dead before they are over, the problem wouldn't be a problem.

Trubisky put on his nfl big boy pants that td drive and just became a man...regardless of how this game ends, that drive proved to his team his coaches and himself that hes more than capable of being this teams leader...some amazing throws there.
