Someone bet $500,000 on the Seahawks at -6.5 ahead of Monday's game, and it was an easy call for most of the game. The Seahawks had a 14-6 lead at halftime, and before Wentz hit Rodgers in garbage time, they were set to win by 14 points.
Even so, all hope wasn't lost once Wentz found the end zone. Had the Eagles kicked the extra point, they would have lost 23-16 and just managed to cover the spread. But $500,000 went down the drain when the Eagles converted on a Miles Sanders run.

That explains why Pete Carrol told his players to relax on the Eagles' final drive and especially on 2-pt. conversion. Big money can only be bet on Moneyline bets if you are going with favorites.

The 0 effort is correct, you’re 7-3 with a 14pt lead and :25 seconds On the clock knowing Hail Mary is coming, why risk injury by going alllll out with such a minimal chance at losing. Especially since you’re last 5 games are all winnable, I don’t blame Seattle for no effort they put in the effort all game to be in a luxurious position to allow a team to get 8 points and not risk injury and still win easy

You have to look at Wentz as a person. He is ab extremely devout Christian. He was baptizing Eagles players like crazy his rookie year. He is a good Christian country boy from North Dakota. He now has generational wealth beyond his wildest dreams after playing college ball at NDST. He is set for life and his priorities are God first, then Family then maybe football. His first child arrived in April. He will be fine riding out into the Sunset with the quarter of a Billion dollars he earned with endorsements and wages. He will then most likely build a church do missionary work have 10 more kids and preach the word of God. He is set for his life and the NFL in the grand scheme of his life is a speed bump then he has the next 50 or so years to pursue his passion. Being a star NFL QB isn't high on his life priority list. If you ever have seen an interview with him he doesn't even mention football, God and Family and his plans for helping the world and spreading his faith.
God is Good and the Ball don't Lie.

If he bet that big he can afford it--no worse than a $100 bettor losing...I neither feel bad nor feel overjoyed if transversly someone wins a multi-thousand dollar bet it is all relative
