Big Ben is 13-0 against Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field

Good morning gang.
I hope you boys made some money over the weekend. I didn’t have a barn burner with my NFL posted picks but I did clean up nicely on SNF and the college bowl games. Anyway we got MNF featuring 2 bad teams. We have Big Ben playing his final home game taking on the Browns and Baker Mayfield who is coming off a 4 interception performance against the Packers.  I didn’t get on here this morning to try and convince you what to bet tonight. Last night I didn’t post my Packers play because I thought that was a given. Hell, I bet Big and gave up an extra TD because that was free money the way I figured the game would go. (It did). I got on forum after kickoff and saw half the forum was on the Vikings. Could the Browns win tonight? Of course, it’s the NFL.  Just like it was possible for the Vikings to beat the Packers last night with a backup QB. But just like the Vikings last night, there’s no way I’m betting the Browns in this spot. They have never once beaten Big Ben at home and I see no reason why that changes tonight. Big Ben is 25-3-1 against Cleveland for his career and 13-0 against them at home. . For an .879 winning percentage. There’s a word for a record like that. OWNERSHIP. He has only ever lost to them 2 times during the regular season. His 25 wins is the 4th most by and QB against one team. I say all this just because I’m old and I’m sitting her having my morning coffee and felt like throwing out some info. You do what you want, put 100K on the Browns if you see them winning tonight. You do you!

As for me I am gonna bet on Big Ben 1 more time at home. He’s been good to me when he plays the Browns at home.

 They did, I meant to write 13-0 in regular season. They beat him twice in Cleveland in regular season and once at Heinz Field in the playoffs.

Agree, neither team is going anywhere all the games broke wrong for both teams. Steelers and Big Ben's last game at Heinz is exactly like last night's game it was Packers and over or nothing tonight is under and Steelers or nothing.  Only bad thing is Baker seems to really come to play in worthless game but many Steelers are playing for a position next year. Wilson or Rodgers will be in the mustard and black next year. I do have to say it is sentimental for me. Even though I was never a Steelers fan Big Ben was at his height of his career before I left for Asia. In 2006 I was in a very small village in Southeast China and they had like 7 dishes and an internet Cafe. I woke up made coffee took a walk on a warm and humid day then returned and the family I was staying with had the Superbowl on TV with Chinese announcers.  I watched the game with a four 80 year old family membersat 7am. All of them have since passed but it was the leadup to Spring Festival and the son made sure he found the channel for the game. They thought being and Eagles fan meant I would also be a Steelers fan because I was from Philadelphia.  People in this world are really kind. Gets me a little teary-eyed thinking so old folks are all gone but they would mimic me when I cheeredto be nice to the strange foreigner and first white dude to every visit their little corner of the big blue marble. Big Ben or no bet. Gawd, time flies and slps away so quickly

Hey like I said too, Browns can win it. I’ve lost more bets than most have even placed. I would kick my own ass if I took the Browns and Ben whipped out his last can of magic. Normally I look at a MNF game like this one and take a night off. Just do something with my girl, but I wanna have action in Ben’s last hurrah at Heinz and I think he shines. At least 1 more time.

 Nice story Frank. I agree there is a lot more kindness in the world than anyone would believe by looking on social media but it’s true. I’m reading a good book right now called Shantaram that has that theme running through it. Although I didn’t always like some of the off the field stuff about Ben and I’m neither a Ben or Steelers fan. I am sentimental about the NFL and so it’s Steelers and Under for me as well.  I’m not going all in like I did on Packers. Just a bet to make it fun to watch. I’m a life long Bears fan  so if I lose, at least I’m used to it lol.

What's interesting is Browns beat them in Pittsburgh just last year with basically the same teams they have now.

What happened 10 years go was different players on each team.

And Steelers a shell of the team they used to be over the years.

 The games are decided by the preparation during the week, I’m not buying Pittsburg is gonna win because its Ben’s last game, they may win and cover, but, it will be because they put the work in during the week and their overall game plan, these guys are professionals, and they defiantly don’t want to be embarrassed on Monday night, IMO, if you liked Cleveland before, stick with it, the Steelers aren’t all of a sudden going to turn into the 85 bears because it’s BR’s last game-

If Steelers win this game (and especially if they cover -2.5) it will restore my faith that money wagered does not influence the outcome of games. There is going to be so much money wagered on the Steelers tonight, it's not even funny.

I agree with your statement they both suck, but i could care less about the trend here.  Most of those years Pittsburgh was one of the best AFC teams, while Cleveland was one of the worst franchises in the league.  Browns probably have more talent overall this year and this will be a tight game the whole way.  Either team won't be able to pull away from one another.   Also, Minnesota had no chance of winning last night, maybe covering the spread, but not outright.  GL in your bet tonight, if Cleveland gets to 3 and the hook, i'll be on CLE.
