Broncos fan here living here in Manhattan. How do ya like that Rock Chalk! LOL. Actually was going to go to KU, ended up at WSU. Business brought me here. Looking forward to the game against KU on the 5th. I am rooting for the Chiefs. Time for them to share some love. PM was my fantasy QB who took me to the playoffs and won my league. I did not think he would step up like he did last week. Kid is a baller. Going to suck for me for the next 10 years. Good thing it is going to be 15 degrees in KC otherwise it would cost me to go to this game. Good luck!

I would use caution basing such a big wager on the Pats road performance against inferior teams. Clearly, they relaxed in those games - not a good thing, but not the end of the world. As noted elsewhere, this game was one "Gronkowski playing safety" play away from being played in Foxboro.
Also as noted there....check the respective records against other playoff teams to this point:
KC: 3-4
NE: 5-0
Clearly, the Pats get ready for good teams and perform. In KC;'s favor, Belichek only has 1 week to prep (though LAC truly messed up with their 6 DB Defense last week - what a disaster against the bigger lineup NE put against them)
Chiefs SHOULD be favored - but I wouldn't mortgage the Farm on it.

Well if a Farm costs 26k, I'd like to see what kind of shape that farm is in.....jokes, yeah. None the less, I've made money doing this, and I've lost money doing this. It comes it goes. This is basically all profit for me, minus a 2000 dollar deposit. I live fairly comfortable and win or lose, it won't effect me....emotionally maybe cause that would mean my Chiefs lost. Probably would cry actually idk....but good thing is, they arent going to. We all know stats are stats and for the most part can be thrown out the window at any point, during any game, against anybody.....anything can happen. I like my chances and bottom line is I'm a diehard, born n raised, I even got kidney stones one time and they turned about to be Arrowheads, Chiefs fan......not many times I can be this excited about my team and this confident in them....its been years. Thanks for the input and good luck in whatever you bet!

Funny stuff. Thank you my friend. And yeah that Bobby Brown is something else, and my Jayhawks are not looking as hot as they should be. Should be a great game! I hope we can keep PM for that long, would make for a terror against the Broncos for years to come! Thanks man and best to you!

What is the average points given up by this defense against SOLID offensive teams? 17 pts by NE would be shocking, I dont see how people can lay chalk on a coach who time and again flops in the big game.
did you watch the chiefs pass rush last week? it was amazing against a more mobile Andrew Luck if they can bring that kind of heat again this week Brady will struggle
So you want to compare Luck vs Brady, Colts coaching vs Pats, Colts a dome team vs Pats an outdoor freezing temps team.
How could you go wrong with all these solid comparisons?
The Colts had a nice run to end the season but really those comparisons are for sure no reason to wager on Andy Reid and an inexperienced QB plus a really bad pass defense. Brady will audible the Chiefs to death. I like Luck but you have to relax on the comparison.

With total respect to a great future for Patrick Mahomes as he’s absolutely the real deal! BUT not so fast.... Do not go by anything that the Patriots did during the regular season as that’s history and it was as vanilla as a team can play and there’s a reason for that! I’m a bias fan of the Pats and I’m all in on a New England Patriot Victory! Good luck u have many years ahead with the next possible G.O.A.T. in Kansas City! If ur right I’ll be cheering for the kid and Andy Reid!!!

Indeed. I know, stats and everything could go out the window in a blink, but I'm excited about our chances. Good luck either way.....one of us will be a very happy, slightly richer homer.....although I will probably be more excited than you. You're used to it.....can we have some fun now? Its time! Good luck man

I'm a homer, so take this for what you want. I'm only posting cause I am excited for my team in the first time in years. I'm not trying to sway someone in one direction or the other. The Brady Era is over, and major respect to the man but it's time for the Hall Of Famer to pass the torch. I dont need to tell you what the buzz is like around KC, its wild, twice as hyped as it was when the Royals went to and won the world series. I also dont need to tell you how good Mahomes is, if theres any question, you should seriously check your eyes, ears, and all other vitals, just in case. I dont need to tell you that this kid has led KC to their first home playoff win in 25 years. What I do think I need to bring to everyone's attention (or the ones who are missing it) is KC's defense at home. Yes KC defense could be tons better, but holding opponents to about 18 points at home, and getting to the QB just as well/if not better then any team in the league has been our bread and butter at home. And our pride and joy Eric Berry will be playing....if you dont think this means something to KC defense then you're crazy. Yes it's going to be cold and it makes me sick that people bring up Mahomes in the cold.....do they know it's been cold here the whole winter? The man practices every day in it....you really think hes not going to be prepared for it? That's crazy to me, but again I know nothing, I'm a homer. We all know how good both these QBS are, but let's look at Pats defensive outings on the road. This is in no way considering how much better and more explosive KC's offense is compared to these teams that will be listed...... Patriots D on the road gave up 31 to the Jags (really? didnt know Jags knew what offense stood for) 26 to Detroit, 31 to Da Bears, 34 to Remember the Titans, and another 34 to the Dolphins. Yes I'm missing a few games where they held Buffalo (who gives a f) to 6, and Jets (lol) to the 13. Yeah yeah I know, different circumstances, different things on the line, different weather, etc etc.....I dont care! Now lets flip sides, let's look at KC's offense at home......KC put up 38 on 49ers, 30 on Jags, 45 on Bengals, 30 on Denver, 26 on the Cards, 27 on Ravens (best d in the league?) 45 on the Raiders, and 31 on the Colts. It doesnt take a math wiz to look at the numbers and see it's slightly lopsided. Yeah I know, most of that is out the window this weekend, but is it? Arrowhead will be loud and Bradys record of 1-2 @ Arrowhead will soon be 1-3. This will not be a 83 point game as it was in Foxborough, defense will be key here, and a homer or not, I KNOW KC's offense will put up enough points to win, and I also know KC's D will hold Brady and Co more than enough to cover the spread. I have about 26k in my offshore right now, and I'm putting it all on KC -3. No need to buy down. No need to play money line. My Chiefs will roll and Brady will hand over the torch to the kid. Pats 17 Chiefs 31 This will not be a close game. I dont need you to tell me how stupid it is to put everything on one game, or a homer to bet on his own team. If I cared, I wouldn't do it, but I'm looking to double up, book a vacation for me and the lady, maybe get SB tickets if I can find them for decent. We here! And its time mah fukkas! GL to all
Gl as a pats fan i had the pats 34-24. I will put my 2 cents on the pats for the plus 3. Either way if ma-homie make it good for him.

Have you watched a pats game or maybe bosa can enlighten you “we have a GREAT pass rush, but we will never get to him” . Virtually untouched 43 passes.. 5 qb pressures.. 2 QB hits.. 0 qb knockdowns.. if your reasoning is they will pressure him .. have you tried playing on frozen grass that is then heated from below.. it favors the o line tremendously .. Brady doesn’t hold the ball hell half his passes are to backs and then throw in PA to edelman.. the pash rush will be irrelevant. Just like the first time they played on turf in better conditions.. please keep betting up the chiefs

It's funny that people think the grass is going to be froze over. Coming from a fan who's been on field in many cold games, it's not as bad as one thinks. Yes Pat's o line is great. But Arrowhead is a different beast, Bosa played Brady in Foxborough.....Brady coming to Arrowhead and playing a hyped and very excited, "getting better", defense.......again bud, I'm a homer, this bet was going down almost regardless.....except this time, it makes a lot of sense. As I said before I love my chances. The outcome will be what it will be.......and that's Chiefs rolling. :) Thanks for your uninformative input.....comparing Chargers in Foxborough vs a Chiefs defense at home who pressures the qb better than any home team in the league. I applaud all inputs....but that's bad

For starters the Chargers only have edge rushers in Bosa and Ingram The Chiefs have on of the best interior pass rushers in Chris Jones. He wreaked havoc on the number 1 OL last week. You take that interior pressure and add in Houston and Ford and man this rush is way better than the Chargers.
Secondly, because the Chargers don't have a dominant interior rush attack, both Bosa and Ingram had to travel further around the protection in order to disrupt Brady. Now normally that wouldn't matter but 1. Brady is an elite Veteran, 2. The Chargers and their idiot DC chose to play zone all game. When you play a zone defense the QB especially one of Brady's caliber will get rid of the ball instantly and find the holes in the zone defense.
So, in conclusion, the Chargers fcked themselves by playing zone all game against Brady because their best pass rushers are edge rushers and have to travel a longer distance to get to Brady which requires time, which they don't have since Brady can get rid of the ball quickly because he's facing a zone defense.
The Chiefs do not play zone coverage. They play man mainly and unlike the Chargers, they have a dominant interior rushing attack. Brady will be disrupted 100%. The question is will Brady and McDaniels adjust their offensive gameplan to mitigate that pass rushing attack.

No offense OP but why wouldn't you max bet last week against the Colts?? You were giving away just 1.5-2 pts more to a vastly inferior team. I'm not saying the Chiefs won't cover or dominate the Pats but man if ever there was a week to go all-in it was last week as a Chiefs backer. The whole world had gone mad, overrating the Colts and underrating the Chiefs.

I hope I make you proud this week. I learned from my mistake and am now going large on KC -3 (backed by system)

I heard it's only supposed to be about 5 degrees at game time.... not sure about wind or snow...but obviously passing games will be challenged by the elements, surface conditions, all of it.
WIND may be the biggest factor...
The playing surface conditions should be Ok...
Arrowhead might be freezing, but not on the field..
A few years ago they installed a $2.2 million heating system,,,with pipes of heated water that run below the sand under the stadium turf.,,by game time, the temperature of the field will be around 50 degrees.

Jan. 3 2014......that's my answer as to why I didnt do it at that time. Straight up scared as a homer who was a lil tipsy that night and decided to throw every KC Chiefs hat he owned in the fire (13 of them) and ended up replacing them the following week. Most honest and legit answer I can give you. And yes I'm more confident in this game considering
