Different teams and different rules also. More physical play in the secondary was allowed at that time than today so they Pats won't be able to defend like they did vs the Rams. The NFL changed the rules when they were slowing down the Colts .Not discounting Belicheck but just a point to ponder,

If you think New England has been this good for this long cause of players then you don't know this football team. The clear point is belichick will figure out the best way to slow down the offense with what he has regardless of who they are.

Hey don't mind achilles, he's the covers hall monitor. I'm a square newbie so i just came back lurking for the first time in a while to get some view points from different minds on both sides and use that to help me cap a game. It's apparent he's on ATL because he gets oddly butt hurt when anyone says anything negative about them like he's sticking up for his pathetic girlfriend. He's so sharp because he's picking a dog to cover the biggest game of the year. Whoaaa. Dogs have covered 4 outta the last 5, if that's a trend, picking a dog based on trends just makes you a square. He'll reply to my post in others with childish comments about how low your post count is as it's a measuring tool to how big your d*ck is, similar to a hall montior wanting to see your hall pass and calling security when you don't have one.

I doubt his ability to do this is a fluke..
