Why wouldn't you just kneel it ever down if you weren't going to try to score the garbage time points? Don't understand risking injuries.

Not sure I have ever seen an nfl team losing kneel multiple times to close out a game.

I don't understand why some teams being down 4+ scores will try to score while others will not. Can anyone explain the reasoning to me?

 I get that but why give the ball to your running back for every down to kill the game and a chance to injure an offensive lineman or your backup running back? 

Doesn't it make more sense to just kneel it?
