I am from buffalo and have watched every bills play, and have also watched the browns the past two weeks, the bills secondary is completely banged up jairus byrd, stephon gilmore, and ron brooks will all be out, and both aaron williams and leodis mckelvin will probably play but theyre both going to be playing hurt. This will leave the bills to play UDFA rookie nickell robey and justin rogers a cb who allowed 227 of geno smiths 310 yards passing. Brian Hoyer may not be a star but he will have the benefit of playing against 3rd string defensive backs. Also the bills rb's freddie jackson and cj spiller will have a limited role because both are dealing with sprains, so tashard choice will be a major part of the game plan. EJ Manuel has played okay so far, but he played absolutely terrible in his only road game, against a solid jets defense. Because of the close proximity of Cleveland and Buffalo this will not be a true home game, as there will be thousands of bills fans making the 2 1/2 hour drive. In my opinion this is a bad match up for buffalo, and the offense will have a tough time moving the ball against a very solid defense.... However I think the overall outcome of this game will be determined by the play of EJ Manuel and Brian Hoyer, two qb's with very limited experience. I understand why Cleveland is favored by 4, but if EJ has a good game I would not be surprised to see the bills win outright. Especially if the bills front 4 can bring some pressure and cause the inexperienced Hoyer to turn the ball over. Because of the lack of game tape we have on hoyer and manuel I think this game should be a no play and the game will probably be decided by which team/qb makes less mistakes.

2 weeks ago EVERYONE was taking the Vikings -7 talking how the browns are awful now with no run game and that they are mailing it in... Now there's a good chunk on the browns -4 against a team that's been in every game so far.. Just crazy how this all works. Gl with your play. Are we really buying into the browns that fast?

I think if you read the thread bud you can see their angle. Pretty much Buffalos compete secondary is out. I dont think neccesarily any given week these guys would be picking the browns vrs the bills, but this week the Bills have alot of problems and its on 3 days rest vrs a pretty confident team right now.

Hey Europa, I like the play. I lean Cleveland myself, but just wish I could have grabbed it for the half a day or so it was -3.
I love this Cleveland defense, but I just don't think I can lay 4+ with such a young QB(I believe Hoyer is starting still). I had hopes that maybe it shrinks back down to -3 where I would probably make a half unit play for some action, but as another poster mentioned earlier in this thread, the Buffalo defense is absolutely shredded with injuries(not to mention both Spiller and FJ are banged up pretty bad), so that reason alone I don't think it moves lowers than 4.
I like the play though and will root be rooting u on. GL.

IMO this is a no play, but like everyone else I want a little action on the thursday night game, and I cant bet against my bills... but jairus byrd had a full practice so he might play, which would be huge, also leodis mckelvin a former top 10 pick, who finally looks like he gets it, will most likely be on the field. The bills are riddled with injuries but the browns will be missing jabaal sheard, billy wynn, and a few other solid defenders. And lets not forget hoyer threw 3 ints against minnesota, he played better against cincy but they were without leon hall, dre kirkpatrick, adam jones, and reggie nelson, and Terrance Newman played hurt. So im not convinced that hes going to be a franchise qb just yet. One area where the bills have a good match up is kiko alonso covering cameron jordan... alonso is 6'4 and can run with tight ends, which is why he already has 4 ints, and a turnover in every game so far. So i do think that the bills can win this game, especially if Hoyer faces any type of pressure. however mario williams will have his hands full against joe staley, as will marcell Dareus and kyle williams going up against alex mack. But if buffalo wins these match ups I would expect the bills to not only cover but win the game out right. Honestly too much of this game depends on if we are going to see the good EJ or the bad EJ... and same goes for hoyer.... right now I think I am going to tease buffalo and the under

Prime time home game for dawg pound, i generally like TNF favs, esp. home favs. Browns should be favored a FG the most, why would oddsmaker give them 4 pts fav? think i'll bite here. GL!

Manuel has only completed 29 of 64 passes the last two weeks. That's 45%, which is horrible. That's Tim Tebow like.
And Joe Haden, one of the best cornerbacks in the league is going to be all over Stevie Johnson on one side of the field. So that doesn't help.
