BUT WHAT ABOUT THE RUNNING BACKS?? at this point in career brown must be watched (he also gets injured for several games...and Williams, how much gas in tank he got left? they are not deep enough in the RB's to be a run 1st team...
Name me any other team in the AFC with a better 1 2 running attack then Miami.

Only three come to mind and it is certainly debatable as to whether or not they are better than Brown/Williams: KC (Jones/Charles), Baltimore (Rice/McGahee) and Tennessess (Johnson/White). I would still have to say Miami has the best 1-2 combo in the AFC, nevertheless.

Great trade for the fins who lack a great WR. I thought the price was steep though. Denver did well in this deal as well.
Ginn would fetch a 6th round pick. I can see a good team wasting a 6th rounder and gambling on him.
I think that the price was a little steep but I know the Jets were offering a first rounder. I would definitely give up a first rounder straight up for Marshall. Back end of the draft. 17-32.

If Miami is SOMEHOW able to land CJ Spiller on draft day, then it would indeed be time for the NYJ and NE to start worrying about their respective/perceived positions atop the AFC East. Spiller is already being compared to CJ4.24 (Chris Johnson) by folks a lot smarter than I, and if they are correct about Spiller's prospects as the next great younf NFL RB, then the Fins should consider a strategy to land him; as someone else here mentioned, Ronnie Brown isn't getting any younger and has already sustained near-career-ending injuries to his knee(s), while Ricky Williams is on the wrong side of 30 and has been, despite his effectiveness last season in particular --- eps. in the now famous Wildcat formation.
I wish that my Redskins would just draft Spiller and then O-line exclusively, but that's probably the fantasy football owner talking heh heh heh...

[/QuoteThe Dolphins would love Spiller, who wouldn't?But Miami has other needs db,pass rusher, nose tackle and they don't have a second round pick.Spiller would be a luxury for Miami but one they really can't afford.

you are correct gilligan, and since Spiller went to Buffalo, Mathews landed in San Diego to replace LT,and Best heading off to Detroit, I guess we can forget about the Fins drafting a "difference-making" RB in the 1st two rounds now... it will be interesting to see who the Dolphins draft in the next few rounds at any rate...

Well misfit, they DO have Greg Camarillo, who will likely transform into more of a possession receiver, he may very well play Wes Welker to marshall's Randy Moss so to speak, and don't forget Davone Bess either, he can flat out fly and if he ever learns to run routes then Miami's passing attack will be something to keep an eye on imo... will BMarsh catch 100+ balls in Miami? I doubt it, but he won't have to if everyone else there does their respective jobs. I will be dropping Marshall in my keeper fantasy league however, instead keeping Austin and Roddy White
