Well deserved.  He should also not be voted into the Hall of Fame cheaters from other sports such as Barry Bonds, Alex Rodregez and Mark Mguire.

Some of the comments im finding:

If Brady is one of the greatest QB's of all time, then shouldn't he be able to just play by the rules and win? Why all of this sneaky al-Qaeda BS (like that Spygate crap from before)?

Yeah, if you beat your wife, the punishment is still less than deflating the ball.
Or you could get all buff with 'roids and still not pay as harsh a penalty.
Or you could even do/deal some drugs on the side and get a slap on the wrist.
Or you could torture and kill a bunch of dogs and not get as harsh a penalty...the prison time was not from the NFL.
Welcome to the NFL...where we feign like we care. As long as we make tons of money, ethics and morals can go take a flying leap. Cheaters win...but they still get a slap on the wrist so we can pretend to care.   No legitimacy to the game

LOL!!! The Patriots brought into question the integrity of the league with these actions and all they get is to lose Brady for 4 games and a 1st taken away! the Saints were putting bounty's on other players and they lost players, coaches, front office staff had all types of fines etc. for bringing in conduct detrimental to the league. Not to mention this isn't the first time the Patriots have been involved in such a scandal ever heard of spygate and the Saints had never been involved in anything before the bounty scandal.

got what he deserved. more interesting to me is the 1 mil fine for the club and the loss of 2 draft choices. implies the club was somehow involved but they weren't according to the report. hard to know for sure as brady didn't cooperate.

    ...

just curious about sumthing I haven't seen addressed...

would slightly under-inflated footballs hinder gostowski on FG attempts?...

not an aerodynamics expert by any means but Im assuming if you hit a properly inflated ball truly it will travel farther...

Good he is a cheat and shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame.  Oh by the way he is way overrated as well.  He is a system qb nothing more.

Only Brady backers will disagree with this, but NFL is slashing him and his team.

I hate the Patriots, but, you've been drinking too much

Brady will go into the Hall Of Fame. Not first ballot, as a slap on the wrist from the committee, but he will go in.

Overrated? By who? Find me a Top Ten list that doesn't include him. I'll wait................
......................................and it can't be from Dolphins Monthly.

System quarterback? Do you work on the Dan Patrick Show?
    That must be some system!
Tell me about this system. How does it work? How many teams copy this system?

    Is the success due to
    • 1000 yard rushers?
    • 1000 yard wide receivers?
    • 1000 yard tight ends?
    Let us all know, okay?

Exactly. Montana (my favorite QB of all-time) can be argued as a system QB, too but I doubt anyone could say he wasn't great. West-coast offense, great coaches and hell, he even had better weapons.

I figure they would have gone harder but the appeal ought to be a good one

I hope Brady wins his appeal.  We make too much out of this stuff.

I sure as hell wouldn't want to be the Dallas cowboys week 5 if this 4 game suspension stands.
If it stands. I will abandon my way of flat betting for that one game and bet 10 times my flat bet wager on the patriots.

Lets see, Matt Flynn played good enough in 2013 to earn him a 20 million contract with the Seahawks the following year where he couldn't even beat out a rookie. With your logic, Rodgers must be a system QB as well.

    A system qb? Really...

2001, less than 2 minutes to go, first year starting, he gets team into fg range, wins SB.

2015, 2 tds in 4th quarter to lead comeback win.

Guys a killer, 2nd best qb, I agree Montana stands alone.

I'm sorry that people are so stupid they can't see this...
