Caleb has more upsoide than any of these other rookie QBs that are coming out of option offense programs (Bo Nix, etc etc).

But there has been a record in low scoring these first two weeks, and the lowest amount of TDs thrown by a QB.

Off numbers (passing) and scoring are down, for many reasons. Not just bad QB play. OCs are calling a lot of run plays. Teams like NE (playing tonight) are trying to win every game like 17-14.

Pitt is a prime example. A 2-0 team that is getting horrible production at QB. Their defense is stellar. Seems a trend that might continue, esp with all these young QBs asked to do a lot, but with off playcalling that is unimaginative, no motion, no pre snap motion .......

Caleb miracles a touchdown in the last 1:47 (with a shit line and dumb receiver) of the game and this thread never appears.
