You mean a Cinderella story? Not in my Life time.
7 wild card winning the Superbowl with the last one Brady n bucks over mahomie.
4 other wild card losing in the Superbowl.
Now how about last year Superbowl winner and the following year Superbowl as a dog?

I could share you all the solid betting trends that supports the Chiefs winning this super bowl against the 49ers. But you want everyone to figure out your quiz.
I probably know most if not all the trends you're talking about. You are more than welcome to post them.

It’s a powerful stat but I don’t think any of those 6 teams had failed to cover a spread in the playoffs though like this years Niners. Sheep def seem to be piling up on the Chiefs though.

Whoa. True story. I'm watching Speak of FS1 right now. 30 minutes ago they were talking about Mahomes winning his 3rd SB. All of a sudden the studio started shaking. They shut-up & just looked at each other. It lasted a few seconds. Then Joy Taylor said: "We're having an earthquake."
When it was done they went on talking about Mahomes. They didn't realize what just happened. God had just spoken.
God is undefeated. Purdy is a man of God.
You still gonna' take the Chiefs?

I present a challenge to each & every one of you, especially the old school cappers. There have been 45 SB's played since the league went to a 16-game regular season schedule in '78. That means 90 teams that have played in the SB since '78. There are many stats cappers use to cap the SB, but there is one team in the SB this year that accomplished something that only one other SB team did since '78. What is that stat? Who was the team that did it previously? What year did they do it? What was the final score of the SB that year? And finally, which team in the SB this year did it? This is only for the serious cappers who are willing to put in the time & work to find it. And you're going to have to go old school capping...with pen & paper & a ton of research...but you will know who wins the SB this year between SF & KC. Hints: It happened during the regular season, not in the playoffs. And you can eliminate '82 as that was a really short messed up season. Good Luck!
Including this year & eliminating '82, there are 90 SB teams. Only 2 SB teams did this during the regular season:
Won all 5 of their last 5 regular season road games & won all 5 by an avg of more than 20ppg s/u:
'84...49'ers -3 vs Dan Marino's Miami Dolphins...49'ers won the SB 38-16
'23...49'ers -2' vs Mahomes KC Chiefs...

I'm not trying to be harsh by any means but think about it, guys & gals. Why would a team that won the SB last year be a dog in the SB this year, especially when their pre-season odds to win the SB was +600 vs their opponent at +1000?
@Riderx
49ers are a 1 seed. KC is a 3 seed. That is due to the success most notably the 49ers achieved this season. Your not going to favor a three over the one.
Line is set accordingly at KC +2
