It&#x27;s obvious....a five point game means nothing.  At least a six point game give the chance that if Pitt scores a TD, of they miss the PAT it&#x27;s a tie game.  What&#x27;s the diff in a 4 or 5 point game?

Because a five point lead with that little time left means absolutely nothing... If you score to take a four point lead in the 4th q, its basic strategy that you try for the 2

Why would you kick the PAT to make it a 5 point game??Of course you try to make it a 6pt game to make the PAT count if your D gives up a TD. There&#x27;s nothing to lose by going for 2 in that spot
