This time last year the Jets just gave the Titans a shellacking and the Giants were on a roll pre Plaxico shooting his leg, every one was talking of a Subway Super Bowl....look how that turned out. Another thing who remembers the Kansas City Chiefs of 05 or 04 under Dick Vermeille...they were 13-0 and had home field advantage, they got knocked out by the colts in the first round which is exactly what i see happening to New Orleans.
The team that will do that imo is the Arizona Cardinals with Warner Healthy...why? because they are the best road team in the NFL and almost beat the Titans with a 2nd string qb. Arizona has been there done that, another reason the Number 1 seed has not done well in recent years.
On the other side lol Manning is a great QB but we all know the colts are mediocre, you can win all the regular season games you want, this sloppy attitude of coming back from behind WILL catch up to them in the playoffs because they wont face the likes of the Texans. Who agrees?

I agree with you Degenerate89. Your ravens should have beaten them but choked in the end. I feel indy is hte most flawed 11-0 team you'll ever see! The Saints just peaked on Monday night!

nice post bro but i disagree the ravens didnt choke, Steve Haushcka choked, and hes not part of our squad any more. The Steelers beat the Vikings and the Ravens should have, NFC teams struggle against tough, physical AFC North Teams i wouldnt be suprised if the Bengals beat the Vikings next week.

just talking shit... it is very obvious that the Colts are the best in the AFC, by a good margin... and it is very obvious that the only team in the NFL that has any shot of taking down the Saints is Minnesota... but the Saints are incredibly confident, and just playing at a ridiculous level... if the game is in New Orleans, the Vikings will have some serious work cut out for them... meanwhile, the Colts will definitely have homefield advantage in the AFC, and the AFC is flat weak this year... Pats in a rematch in Indy? NO FUCKING WAY... that is a blowout, for sure... in fact, if Indy was down by 14 in the first quarter, i would still bet Indy to make short work of their comeback, against what they know is a swiss cheese defense, and would still beat the Pats by 2 TDs...
Cincy? i don't think so... nice story, but this young team isn't going into Indy to win a playoff game with the Colts looking like they're on a mission...
SD? you can bet your ass the Colts are waiting for some payback...
Pitt? they need to get very healthy, and i just don't think they have that edge... SB hangover team from the look of it...
Tennessee? again, nice story... but first off, they are a longshot to make the playoffs still, and secondly, the Colts own the teams in their division... they can handle Vince!
so why is it so outrageous for people to start talking about that possible matchup now? it isn't...
so relax...

um... no! been a die hard NFL fan since 1978...

i like SD/MIN for Super Bowl combo if regular season ends today. and i will pick Vikes to win it. Saints are exceptional but their defense probably cost them in NFCC to the Vikes.

Degenerate89, I agree with your post. A NO - Colts is possible, but Im tired aswell of people jumping on the unbeaten team cock as there are other possibilities.
P.S. this Ice4Blood guy is a complete donkey and gets all his knowledge from the standings page in the daily newspaper. His posts just annoy people in threads and waste eye space.
A Vikings-SD super bowl is highly possible, as both these teams are way more balanced then the colts and NO.
The colts defence is crap. The pats should of beaten the Colts. The Colts did not win that game. The Pats lost.
I'm almost excited to see what the Vikings and SD offences will do to the overated colts. The Chargers dish out a spanking to that franchise year after year. It took powerhouse Defences of the old Steelers and Pats to triumph.
NO is much more of a contender then the Colts, as NO can actually win games on sheer offence, and their Defence has some good playmakers.
Colts have nearly lost to houston, baltimore and new england. Wait till they play the super bowl contenders.
Also we know manning and boys have a track record of doing well in regular season, other teams like Chargers, Cards, Pats, Steelers and Phili are known to get hot come crunch time.

Great minds think alike. NO wins on sheer O, But Chargers and Vikings have balance of the 4 favourites.
Chargers D was weak early in year, but 7 injuries on the starting line-up is accountable. As the year went on, Chargers do what they always do come crunch time. 42-5 in 2nd half of year over last 6 seasons, best in NFL.
