If you're going to play in Buffalo and you're a warm weather team, play 'em in September. And we've seen the Bills stumble out of the gate before @ home, 2021 vs Pitt, and last year vs the Jets and Zach Wilson (what!?).
With Diggs and Gabe Davis gone, Allen and James Cook will really have to carry the load, at least early on while their young receivers and Allen get in synch. On defense, stud LB Matt Milano out again, veteran DBs Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer have moved on, their are some questions about the Bills defense.
Marvin Harrison Jr. is a welcome addition to Kyler Murray and Arizona, he'll be an impact player immediately. RB James Conner had his best season last year, 1k yards rushing, 9 TDs (2 receiving). Cards defense was bad last season and while they've had a couple upgrades, it's their defense that will make or break them because this offense should be good.
Arizona, despite another losing season, won twice in December OTR last year on the East coast, beating Pittsburgh and knocking off the Eagles as a 12 point dog so Orchard Park is just another East coast stadium where they've had success.
It'll be interesting to see Josh Allen without Diggs or Davis, last thing he needs is to be on a different page with his new receivers. We know Josh has T.O. issues, dare I say I think he'll have another one or two today.
The Arizona offense has a lot of optimism, the addition of rookie stud Harrison, Murray is healthy, he played well down the stretch last season, and rugged James Conner, 5 ypc last year, this is dangerous offense. The big boys up front have questions but if they're just run blocking, Kyler's legs can create plays down the field.
This should be a fun game to watch and this is the right time to take a trip to Buffalo. Arizona can create problems for an opposing defense, enough to keep this game competitive. I wouldn't entirely rule out an upset, we've seen it before there this time of year. 27-24, one way or another.
Arizona +7, -115
Hope everyone has a great season, don't try and win it all these first couple weeks you young bucks!
