ill give you an example the great genius Bill Bellichik in the 2007 superbowl .........patriots , giants ....pats had 1st and goal from the 8 yd line with 2:42 left ...down by 3 ............giants 1 time out
the smart thing would have been to run Cory Dillion on first down which would have brought the clock down to 2 min warning , , run on 2 down make the giants use their last timeout .
we have no way of knowing what would have happened...... but ,if he was such a genuis like everyone says he is ....he should have attempted to run the clock run down , remember they were only down by 3 points .
what the super genuis did was, 1st down, incompletion , 2nd down incompletion , 3rd down touchdown ........no time off the clock, giants still have their timeout ...........giants score TD , win the super bowl with 42 second left .
this is what i mean ,they all have thier moments of glory, and they all f-in blow at times . but this asshole blew the superbowl and the perfect season . Yet every says he such a great coach ....

I don't know where to start with this because so much is wrong but first of all Corey Dillon was not on the 2007 team. He was gone after the 2006 season. 2nd of all the Giants had all 3 of there timeouts not 1 and 3rd the Patriots couldn't run at all that game. They had under 50 yards total rushing. If you want to blame Belichick for anything in that game it would be goind for it on 4th & 13 at the Giants 30 in the 3rd quarter rather than kicking the field goal. And yes to answer the question I am still bitter about that game.
