Like the stock market....buy low, sell high. Chargers stock is way cheap right now....worth the gamble. I mean, they are not the Browns or Miami.....they can win straight up here vs Denver at home if they play without those incredible mistakes.
Its going to be real close tonight.

This is incredibly stupid. The have lost to bad teams. KC was without Houston, Hali, Charles, and Peters. They lost to a terrible Nee Orleans. They lost to the Raiders who are currently beating up on bad teams. Their only win was against the Jaguars, who just got their win against the Colts, a team that barely beat the lowly Bears. And their final loss was to the Colts!!! Christ that is a very easy strength of schedule and they couldn't get through it with a better record than 1-4.
Denver beat a fully healthy Carolina team. They soundly beat Indy. They beat Cincy by double digits. They beat the pants off of Tampa. And they lost to Atlanta, who may be a top 5 team in the NFL. By the way hey lost by 7 points with a rookie project QB!!!
Denver still has a top 3 defense. They have a great recieving corp (that will be going up against a horrendous secondary). They have a quality run game with CJ and Booker (41% of snaps week 5). And Siemian has shown he can beat up on bad secondaries (Tampa and Indy).
I'm not going to overthink this. The only thing that has me worried is coaching, because I think it factors into games more than people think. BUT I loved Joe D when he coached for Chicago, he was the only coach on that staff that had a spine. McCoy absolutely sucks and doesn't have the respect of that team. I live in SD and listen to the players on sports radio and they don't even hide their distaste for the coach.
Denver -3

Wish it were that simple bud, but in sports betting, 2+2 does not equal 4 sometimes.
Great point. How many times have we heard just bet on the better team. If it was just betting the better team to win we would all be millionaires. Some weeks the faves cover, other weeks majority dogs cover, and sometimes it's split 50/50. Just have to pick your spots and hope you're right.

People seem to be bettin the home dog just to bet the home dog. Denver is 4-1 ATS with their one loss comin with Paxton Lynch.
By my numbers, Siemian is an incredibly quick decision maker, snap to release an average of 2 seconds, whereas the average for a qb is after 2.5 seconds. The Broncos defense is on average a half a yard away from the QB at the snap AND the WR at the point of the catch. The NFL average in these metrics are both 1.25-1.50. Denver and Seattle are the best by these metrics.
Teams that play Siemian see their Secondary average distance of separation (ADioS) increase a full yard, meaning he throws to wide open receivers. The Chargers' secondary ADioS is around 1.50 meaning we will expect to see the Chargers be an average of 2.5 yards away from the intended target tonight. In case you can't picture it, this does not bode well forget e Chargers.
I try to bury these factoids in others threads because I do not want these metrics to get out, but they have been incredibly predictive so far. The only loss I have had with this system is the Browns v. The Redskins and the 49ers v. The Cardinals, both of which were decided by one very hard to predict metric: fumbles.
Personally, I am very confident that the Broncos are the side tonight. I love Philip, but he will need the performance of a lifetime to get this done, I see Broncos by the score of 31-20

Super team got their behind handed to them on both sides of the ball...welcome to NFL betting
Interesting how in one breath sd lost to shitty Indy but Denver beat mighty Indy hmmm how's that work
Not sure what was so stupid Several things were in sd favor
Head Coach out
qb returning from injury
Den playing on short week on road after being manhandled by atl -mentally down-
against a desperate extremely competitive division opponent
SD #2 offense
It's why they play the game on the field not on paper
