The last time the eagles played the chiefs in the superbowl 2 Years ago they may as well have played on an ice skating rink.
Every single defensive snap the eagles defenders were losing their footing, slipping, sliding, giving the major advantage to the chiefs who were better prepared for the field surface wearing the better cleats for the situation.
That won't happen this time around and I'm very surprised more people aren't mentioning this and factoring in this angle. Did people forget?
And now, Phillys roster is even better. The defense is Way better. They get the job done.
Philly wins 26-20

BOL According to Pro Football Focus the Chiefs' D has the best tackling rate in the NFL! Fangio's defenses (whole career) are 0-7 versus Mahomes and on average give up 28 points per game. Spags is the best DC in the NFL and is a big game schemer with no equal. Totally agree.
Dejean and Mitchell the 2 rookie corners will have some wrinkles thrown their way, and as good as they are and they are, if the pass rush doesn't get home, they will get truly tested by those veteran Chiefs' receivers. Good luck out on those islands. There is no substitute for experience and KC has loads of it.

Good luck, buddy. Same side. But I took the -1 for less juice. I think the Chiefs ball out. They are the more experienced and together team. As good as the Eagles are they don’t always play complimentary football. The defense and offense are on different wavelengths. Fangio is the head coach of the defense and the offense does its thing, but I don’t think they are always in sink. There is also division within the offensive unit itself. Hertz is not always trusted and Brown marches to his own drumbeat. It’s all good as long as you’re winning, but what happens when things go against you in a pressure packed situation? Do they stick together or splinter? Just a subtle thing I have noticed watching these teams.
