I've read that in multiple threads in the past few days, but I don't understand it. Every game for the rest of the year is just as important as the next. If they did have a "super bowl" game, it was 2 weeks ago vs the Ravens as they had lost 10 straight to them. They beat Pittsburgh last year at home and have played them pretty well over 3 of the last 4 games, why would they care so much about this game?
If they happen to beat Pitt this week, we can assume they will be able to handle Jax next week, then maybe we can talk about their "super bowl game" when they go into New England the following week with a 6-6 record and fighting for a playoff spot. But who knows if that will happen.

The Browns are not usually in contention for anything this late in the season. The Steeler games are big rivalry games as they are just down the turnpike from one another as you may know.
Browns' fans have lowered expectations...any divisional contest is graded higher but I would say as a rule, they especially get up when the black and gold come to town.
Do any Cleveland Browns players or fans entertain thoughts of going to the playoffs and winning it all? In their dreams they do but in reality...

Yes, you may be right with your Pitts pick and I wish you good luck.
Game time temperature is gonna be 25 degrees in a possible snow storm, with winds blowing
constantly around 23 MPH. That will make the wind chill Temp
around 12 degrees. This is gonna make passing the ball for both teams
very tough. Hurts the Steelers more IMO.
So this game is gonna be DOUBLE TOUGH for Pitts to win now,
cause it will come down to the " running game " and special teams
play....in other words " Field Position " and that means they will have to
rely on their new punter in the game. And given how he has punted since Tomlin
signed him...they might be in trouble this Sunday with McBriar trying to
punt into a swirling wind in the Mid-20 MPH...
Since Trent Richardson was traded, the Browns have averaged about 90 yards per game. The Steelers have had big troubles running the ball and Cleveland can stop the run to be sure. This could be the perfect storm so to speak and make the Pitts offense malfunction... it would not take much IMO.

the browns supposedly superbowl was week 9 against baltimore, the real superbowl champs. when you watch this game turn off the volume and you will still hear the heavy hits screaming through your screen.

Steelers win this game..tell all the Cleveland fans to keep dreaming. Their Super Bowl was last year when they beat the Steelers without Big Ben at center. Good luck trying to beat them with Big Ben at quarterback especially the way he's been playing in recent weeks. Also, huge revenge factor for the Steelers after losing in Cleveland last year while giving up 7 turnovers(highest in franchise history). Steelers are coming in with all the momentum and playing good football. STEELERS +1.5 BIG!

For me.. I love when a team is coming off a big win at home and is on the road the following week against a team coming off a bad lose on the road last week and is home this week.. Correct me if I'm wrong browns are beat up with injuries? But still a small favorite and line going up a little bit from what it opened at ? BROWNS
steelers is a big public play too always nice to be on the other side with all the other makings of this game

If the steelers are the public play then why is the line moving in favor of Cleveland. If this line makes it to +3 hammer the Steelers. Even though I think they will win straight up.

That's the point I'm making.. The consensus here on covers is Pitt 67% and similar every where else I'v looked ... Publics on Pitt .. it's just a fact up to this point.. The hilton fade thread on here the steelers are a top 5 public play there too.. Everyone on Pitt line going other way on an injuries team.. Idk I guess will just have to wait and see tomorrow

Hey Troy is that you? Ha good luck with your pick. Big Ben 12-1 vs Cleveland in his carrer. Pitt has some momentum. Tough call
lol No, just a Steeler fan that watches all their games. I really do think they have all the momentum heading into this game. I have confidence in their defense against a weak Campbell and their offense has been turning the corner lately. This will be one of those low scoring smash mouth football kinda games. Best of luck to you on your plays.
