It's pretty simple...unless a story breaks we will never know...these are temp refs and they know it....that equals easily swayed by loads of money from organized crime or whoever...not to mention the fact that they themselves could put down on games the officiate or have a friend/family do it....why would they care they know it's not going to last....it's gotten to be such a joke that they are now free to make whatever calls to influence the game for whatever reason....I wouldn't be surprised....money rules the world...

soccer games can be fixed by two teams agreeing for a draw that happens all the time in italy, or a ref calling a penalty but he's one guy , what if they threw the ball to the other side away from this ref how could he call a penalty, i will say this guy had a rough night, think he was the same one who called the bogus sam shields pi , and he also was right in front on the sam shields push in the back in the endzone, maybe this ref doesn' tlike sam shields

why would timmy risk losing his job as a ref making bad calls on purpose they are graded and he wants playoff games, i think timmy had money problems was a gambling addict and knew he could make money by giving advice he knew the teams well knew if it would be high scoring or low guy should of been a handicapper

Yeah and he has no valid excuses. lol. some people must live sheltered lives and never experience anything crooked or corrupt. cops are corrupt, lawyers, judges, CEO's, why not refs who can control the outcome sometimes of a game that is part of a multi-billion dollar business? where there is also millions of dollars being wagered any given day? of course they would and could and do take payoffs sometimes. maybe not all the time and all the refs, but definitely tonight it happened. I know if I was a ref in any sport, I would try to make a few easy bucks. who wouldnt? only an alter boy

the refs werent paid tonight they tried their best they just aren't trained properly weren't in the right position, people just think games are fixed because they are on the losing end of games it all evens out in the end these refs are just over their heads it's not their fault

I dont want to believe that pro sports are influenced by Vegas and games are fixed, but games like these make it really hard not to. Starting with the first interception/roughing the passer penalty, and then the pass interference on shields. And then the last play which was so blatantly obvious. I'm pretty surprised they still went for the fix at that point when everyone and their mama could see on replay that GB had the interception. One thing is for sure though, you can't blame ALL the refs because when those two refs jumped in, the black ref was actually doing his job and tried to make the right call. The white ref, no.26, saw what he was doing and quickly ran over to signal a TD.

Also personally, I don't even blame the refs.. I believe that higher ups 'The Books' and 'The NFL' control these games.
Also did you guys know that it is NOT ILLEGAL to fix games. The NFL is a business and you are allowed to obtain profits by 'enhancing' the product.
So I do believe in fixing but in reality there is nothing anyone can do about it. Hell you can't even really bitch about it because technically they are doing nothing wrong!
They are just making it exciting for us clones to watch.

Actually, everyone wants to bitch and moan about the replacement refs, but the real question is why wasn't the call reversed and called an interception by the Replay crew. The guys reviewing the plays are NOT replacements. We can blame the replacement refs all we want, but the official call came from the replay officials.

These refs are more easily influenced because at any time they could lose their jobs... Replacement Refs with no job security and poorly trained at that is a recipe for disaster. Most real Refs are Professionals and our former police men , doctors , and lawyers ... And every once in awhile you get a Professional even at your job who is in a tight spot or has some kind burden on him and makes a bad decision that he knows is wrong but lacked the self control to do the right thing at the time...They are human and can be influenced by money , However I feel most Real Refs can't be bought or swayed because they hold themselves in high re guard as Professionals just like you would at your job striving to do the best.... But these Replacemnt Refs are dangerous because sufficent background checks were not made i e Saint fan on facebook had to be pulled day of that should have been known eariler... and their expendibilty In my opinioon

all the calls they had some degree of harm in them the roughing passer on wilson he hit him low u can't do that , the pass interference on shields if u look closely shields was holding rice's jersey that is pass interference, also if the refs were fixed for seahawks why didn't they call the pi against woodson when he was obviously face guarding and interfering with the hawks tight end,

Was anyone watching after the game? that retired ref in the booth said the rule states that the replay official could not overturn the call of who had possession so his hands were tied he could only decide if the ball hit the ground or not. after the call was made on the field there was nothing else that could be done by replay which really makes no sense. why have replay for scores if they cant overturn every aspect of a score? lol, that rule needs changed asap

why do the regular refs need pensions so bad i mean cmon stop being so greedy and get back to work would think missing some pay checks would bring these guys closer to agreeing with the nfl

Let me ask 1 question for the guys in this thread who think that all these games and leagues are fixed :
Have you ever been impressed by an individual or team accomplishment in a game or season? I mean have you ever sat back after a game and said "wow that Team sure was impressive" or "wow they played really good today". Have you?
