Cowboys VS Gmen

Based purely on football information, I can't see how the Cowboys win this game. The ONLY reason I have to doubt a sure Giants win is that Vegas is not stupid. Surely they knew how much public action they would see on the Giants and Vegas does not give away free money.

Nobody gave Dallas a shot in Week 1.  Let's remember how difficult it is to win that road game against the Super Bowl champs.  The fact is that Dallas never should have been in that game.  It should have been a rematch of the super bowl or NFC Championship.    They could have even put the Packers in that spot, but it was the league fucking with the Cowboys, specifically Jerry Jones.  It was payback for the salary cap bullshit when the league fined Dallas and Washington for not colluding with the other owners over the salary cap

Here's a tip, when something looks too easy and the public is pounding it, bet the other way. After last week's game with the continued horrible offensive play calling I was ready to be against Dallas. Now they have moved to short home dogs. Public is all over the Giants. LC posted 2 good points about the Panther game. Looking into it more, Dallas matches up a lot better against the Giants then they did last year. Big improvements at corner (no newman getting burnt and losing games). Ratliff is back and does well against the Giants. And Witten is healthy. No one outside this board is giving Dallas a chance, except with that line Vegas seems to think Dallas has a legit shot at winning. Sharp play is the cowboys in my opinion.

Im going to be out in Dallas to watch game, firend is huge Cowboys fan and asked me to go..........anyone want to grab a beer?

hixon sucks? really? have u watched him this season. He schooled one of the best cbs in week 3 and has been solid all season

cambyspree99  - I'm a big Cowboys fan and you're clearly a gmen fan but we want some objectivity here.  Saying the Giants secondary is on par with the cowboys is laughable, and if sean lee is healthy the cowboys have the better LBs.  This game is about whether the Cowboys can protect Romo.  If he's running for his life the whole game the Giants will win, if he has time he will carve that secondary up just like in Dallas last year

Huge packback game here for the Giants. I think they'll cover, but I do not expect a blowout by any stretch. Too important of a game with the division lead hanging in the balance.  

Dallas has owned the -Men the last few years. The problem was the secondary would choke away leads in the fourth quarter every time the played.

Dallas would be up by 3 to 10 points and Newman and Scandrick would be exposed on man 2 man coverage. However, it was mostly Newman getting his old and slow ass beat over the top.

Then the -Men would run all over James and Brookings and run crossing routes over the middle on their old dinosaur asses.  I knew that the new vamped D with Lee and Carter was going to shut’em the fuck down week 1.

And, I knew that Claiborne and Carr are young speedy corners that can play blanket man 2 man and press coverage to shut down the overrated -Men passing game. Dallas is the only team in the NFL that’s built to beat the -Men. If Dallas had, a secondary and a line backing core over the years Dallas would have shut’em down.

I had this game circled on my calendar since the summer. I was one of the very few who knew Dallas was going to kick -Men’s overrated ass week 1. If Jones, Witten, Bryant, Costa, Lee, and Murray were a 100 percent healthy, I would guarantee Dallas in a BLOWOUT!

It would not even be close, but they’re not healthy enough to dominate this week like they should, so I’m staying away from what would’ve been a display of total D domination if they were healthy.

If Murray was able to play, I might of put a small wager on them, cuz when Murray gets over a 100 yards they were undefeated. The only loss they have when Murray gets close to 100 is the Ravens.

There will be a time... when Dallas is at full strength and it’s going to be funny to see the shit talking punks, who only talk a lot of shit when their opponent is weak, and they get exposed for the punk ass bitches they truly are.

I expect a lot of shit talking this week by the -Men and their fans; they sure were quiet week 1, but since Murray and Lee (the midget stompers) probably won’t be on the field to shut’em up. They will get away with it this time around.

The only way Dallas wins this game is if back ups, like Connor, Lemon, and Cook can step up. (Highly unlikely in this one) And, they need unbelievable performances from Felix the beat up cat, and unknowns Dunbar and Tanner. (Also highly unlikely to happen)

Everything points to -Men blowout because Dallas is physically beat up, mentally drained, over-matched in coaching, and lacks quality depth, but there is the small possibility of a miracle in Dallas. I’m not willing to be on it though.

No tryon= much better giants defense.

Cowboys put up 24 week one, and the giants D is much better then it was in week one.  Cowboys havent had any offensive explosions this season except against a weak ravens defense. Just cant see them scoring 24 again.  

I hate both teams but I agree. Bryant can't catch a pass when it counts.  Cruz is money plus they have this secondary WR uh I think his name is Hakeem Nicks!!!!!!!!!!!

I've watched every Giant game this year and although Hixon has had a few decent games, it;s more about ELI  than Hixon.   Top QBs like Eli make scrubs like Hixon better players.  I know a lot of Giant fans and very few are fans of Hixon.  Why do you think they have been trying to replace him the last few years through the draft?  
 The Giants want Randle and Barden to replace Hixon.   HE actually reminds me of that loser, DJ Ware who inexplicably was on your team for quite a few years.    Guys like Ware and Hixon work hard in practice, listen to the coaches, and are rewarded with playing time.     They both though have little upside and talent. 

You guys have some elite players like Eli, Cruz, Nicks, JPP, & Rolle, but Hixon isn't one of them

heres the deal with the NFL and i am sure you already know this >>>  the best team doesn't always win    (or even cover)

 

Don't be tricked, I don't care if the Giants are the better team. Oh and yeah, I forgot how dumb Vegas can be sometimes. They aren't in the money business or anything.

Dallas wins............

The Giants are the best road team in the NFL. I don't see them losing to the Cowboys twice in one year. Big bread on the Giants here. Plus, Sean Lee is out. That's huge. Giants have better coach, are more disciplined, better QB & Romo will be pressured all game.

As a Cowboy fan, I can't emphasize enough how key Lee is to the Cowboys.  He's probably   the 3rd most valuable guy on the team after Ware and Romo.  (yes, Romo)    I don;t understand the line at all.  the giants should be -3        I liked Dallas before the Lee injury, but ill have to sit this one out or just bet the Giants

Undecided for this game. Last week win over the Panthers meant nothing. The panther have so many locker room issues. The balt loss should have been a win.

People overlook Dallas's crazy schedule to start the season.

Tell me any other team in the league that has had such a difficult schedule. The cowboys are a very good team.

With that said, the line is right. This game will come down to turnovers, but Dallas winning wouldn't surprise me at all.

It's all about clicking at the right time. Hence Minnesota beating the niners at home. Maybe a comparable out come ?
