Daily Wager rebranding as ESPN Bet

I have followed and watched this program for over a year on ESPN 2.  It is a great source of information for bettors.  The experts offer a treasure trove of information along with their analysis and Best Bets.  It is entertaining and their games information is right on.  Erin Dolan on the show has been really hot currently has a 9 game win streak on her best bets, most of the others are also very good.  ESPN Bets first show will be on this Friday ESPN 2 at 6pm ET.  Check it out, information can be a real key to winning.

Problem with calling Daily Wager is the show doesn’t broadcast daily

Every single show on VSIN is better than this POS show.

Worst show on TV.  Squaresville.  Made for the lowest common denominator of sports bettors.

 couldn't agree more. Gambling is legal everywhere now and this is espns gambling show?! Anita Marks and her granddaughter...

I thought about keeping track of each one of their records over a season as I can’t seem to find it anywhere. I don’t believe one of them comes out with a winning record at the end of a sports season. It’s possible that they are coincidentally picking losers when I happen to see the show on TV, but that’s all it ever seems to be when I do watch. Great fade material.

0% chance.  Literally 0.

And the juice they lay is incredible.  Nobody could win laying -130 on each side of some dumb prop over who is going to pick their nose first.

This is an entertainment show.  It is an insult to all of you hardworking sports bettors out there (on covers, probably zero) who take this seriously.  I guarantee there is a big correlation between watchers of this train wreck and followers of the pick girls on instagram.

They are all fades. Their best bets are almost always in the negative at the end of the week. 

Anyone who has watched this show for a while and actually wagered what they wagered is down huge.   I literally can’t believe a thread like this was posted.  

I watch this show faithfully.  Nobody has to tail or fade any handicapper on Daily Wager, Team Matchbook or Covers.  I seldom do.  I watch for entertainment (they are all congenial) and some interesting factoids.

As far as the DW handicappers being a bunch of losers, STFU you damn lying ignoramuses.  Stanford Steve has had three streaks of 10+ Best Bet Winners, Joe Fortenbaugh has had one, and the departed Doug Kezirian had a 9-game streak.  They do keep track of net units, whether laying -135 or occasionally hitting at +200 or more.  They do NOT keep track of units risked.

Their overall records probably all stink because the show highlights so many games.  If I had to pick 7 NFL games weekly for some contest, I'd be lucky to break 52% on a good year.

Who are their sponsors? about 90% of them are books...  Tread lightly listening to them..

I have NO idea how the new show will differ.  I dislike the idea of them actually being associated with a sportsbook that has branches in 16 states (not including CA, dadgummit).

If anything seems suspicious (such as their winning percentages plummeting) it's easy enough to fade unethical handicappers.

Erin Dolan is hitting over 70% of her Best bets over her last 100 wagers i have tracked. Yep, they are a bunch of losers alright.

 So you had to track these numbers yourself right? Am I correct in saying that the records of these people are not available anywhere publicly? If they are showing any kind of long term record on the show, could you tell me which episode?

They don't post them publicly that i have found.

I track them personally. Especially Erin Dolan.

 Could you post some more of the stats? How are the others doing over their last 100?

 If I had to guess I would have said that the ladies had a better record than the guys and that Tyler was easily the worst of the 4. I swear every time I see the show he’s picking another loser. 

I also don’t ever remember them talking about unit sizes but I couldn’t be wrong.
