The Patriots had the best defense in the league that's what won for them ,The first SB Pats won Intercepting Kurt Warner 3 times and scored a special teams TD Brady wasn't a factor and it was Drew Bledsoe replacing an injured Brady that won the AFC champ game vs Pittsburgh
Brady threw the ball 0-10 yards yards he was "Horizontal Tom" the easiest system to play QB in the That's why the Patriots won 11 games with Matt Cassel .
After that first SB the whole league was a complete joke the Patriots had the best defense nothing to do with Brady .
A crappy Carolina panthers team hung with the Pats in the 2nd SB only lost by 3 points and Brady was outplayed by Jake Delhomme one of many stiffs that outplayed Brady in post season. Brady almost blows the game in 4th quarter by throwing a pick .
Mark Sanchez came into Gillette stadium and knocked the Pats out of playoffs Brady was a complete STIFF I was there that day .
Flaco always outplayed Brady, another game I attended was Ravens AFC champ game this was the "Perfect Season " Brady 0 TD'S 2 INT'S. Pats still won the game Again nothing to do with Brady ithe media that makes him a big deal and average Joe buys into it .
Eli Manning beat the Pats in two times Super Bowls and outplayed Brady twice , Do you ever hear anyone talking about this guy being the greatest ?
The Patriots and Brady had all these opportunities because of three bottom feeders in the division , a bye week and two home were a given every year these games they were favored by over a TD the only question was how bad Brady would stink in these games .
Its not like the other Sports you have to win multiple series and play at different venues it's only 3 games .
The way the Pats were set up every year if Brady was great like the media makes him the Pats would have won more than 6 , but instead Brady got outplayed and beat by a bunch of stiffs I witnessed it all that why I mute the TV when they start gushing about him .

I addressed the point that NE was not good UNTIL Brady took over.
Never forget that when Cassel took over they lost 5 more games than the year before and did not make the playoffs in that 'bottom-feeder' division.
I addressed the point that the AFC East was not 'bottom-feeders' and why this is a lot of perception. Like how they had a better record outside the division at the time, etc.
You do not get to be the most winning QB with the most SB wins and best ATS record by being lucky for 20+ years. Maybe you could say that if one or two years, but he has proven it for too long for that to hold up.
You can very easily make the argument that every QB that wins has a good team around them and that they have some luck. Maybe he took more advantage than others did. But it is hard to say luck and happenstance and weak division, when he has done it so very consistently for so long.
I get that folks are tired of him or tired of him winning. But no reasonable person thinks it is just luck. Even if you have a bad game as QB, you still have to 'manage' the game and overcome your mistakes and win by other ways than just airing it out -- and Brady has also been the best ever at that as well.
By your logic, very, very few QBs would qualify as good, let alone great AND for sure not an all-time great.
Never forget that QB is the only position in football that they track a win/loss record for. There is a good reason for that.
You could also make a very, very good case for Brady being underrated and Belichick being way overrated. Etc., etc.

As far as Eli out-playing him -- maybe go look at the stats again. Not that big of a difference, especially, considering the Giants had to play from behind in both games and the Giants had the better defense, etc.
2008 29/48 266 1/0 82.5 and 19/34 255 2/1 87.3
2012 27/41 276 2/1 91.1 and 30/40 296 1/0 103.8
Never forget that Brady walked off the field in BOTH games, after getting the lead, and TOLD the defense to stop them ONE time and they would win the game. AND the DEFENSE let them down in BOTH games. In the second game the DEFENSE let them score 3 straight times to win. It is NOT like Brady played defense.
BUT one of the supposedly BEST defensive coaches could not stop ELI (a .500 QB) in the biggest game after their QB gave them the lead late in the game against a great defensive team -- NOT in ONE game BUT in TWO games! Come on, you cannot put all of that on Brady.
