The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly done this week what everyone expected them to do: Fire Wade Phillips. Bill Jones of CBS-11 in Dallas reports the Cowboys head coach was fired on Monday after his team suffered a humiliating 45-7 loss to the Packers on Sunday Night Football.
 
This move was expected by many as multiple reports surfaced following the game that Phillips was unlikely to make it through the week. Phillips' certainly deserved this fate after the Cowboys started the season 1-7. Last week Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Phililps would remain on as head coach for the rest of the season ..

so what now garret was calling the offensive plays anyway and phillips was controlling the defense.  so now what cowboys still sucked and still will suck or hhmmm   did garret set phillips up to get fired by calling bull sh$% plays.  this was a bad move cause this changes nothing there season was done and he should have let it ride out

this was the same coach and offensive coordinator they had last yr when they went to playoffs with the addition of a wide receiver firing phillips will change nothing cowboys will win maybe 3 or 4 more games this team is terrible so jones is doing nothing but wasting more money on garret and paying out phillips contract
