I faded the Broncos the past two weeks against the Giants and Chargers as those were great spots to fade this team. This is not a time to fade them as well. Ignore the offensive woes for Denver in this game, as they are not leaving arrowhead without a victory. KC is not 7 points better than a divisional opponent with a far better defense than them and will struggle moving the ball, despite the extra rest. This is my top play of the week.

Andy Reid Trouble Spot
After jumping out to a league-best 5-0 record, the Chiefs have dropped two straight to the Steelers (19-13) and Raiders (31-30). The team has lost three games in a row just three times since Reid took over head coaching duties in 2013. It may be in danger of making it a fourth, despite laying 7.5 points to the Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night. Including his long tenure with the Eagles, Reid is 6-13 SU and 4-15 ATS at home against division opponents when on a losing streak of one or two games. Five times his teams have kicked off as 4-point chalk or more, and they are 1-4 SU and 0-5 ATS overall.

Furthermore:

Teams going scoreless in Week 7 are 10-3 ATS in Week 8. For an angle with a little more meat on the bone, consider this: road teams coming off zero points vs. a defense that allowed 10 or more the previous week are 40-18 ATS since 1990. The trend proves even stronger in the second half of the season, going 27-9 from Week 8 on. The Broncos (7.5) and the Colts (10.5) fall under this umbrella this week at the Chiefs and Bengals, respectively.

I think it's going to be a high scoring game, back and forth, both offenses moving the ball, Kansas City has the better weapons and coming into this game are the much better team so you would think they win, well, Denver finds a way to grind it out tonight and keep it close with a chance to win the game.  I like DEN ML +260, DEN/KC over 42, and DEN +7.

Also Denver can't. Afford to lost this game , next week meet up top team like  phila 

I had 2 car I may have to sale one and put all money to Denver tonight new_laughing1

kind of similar to when denver lost to giants...now it's impossible in everyone's mind for denver to win against the chiefs so what will happen?

If they grind out, how do you see this game going over and how will Denver score tonight with that putrid offense......just sayin

Tough game to cap.

2 glaring differences in this one that favor KC. QB and special teams. 

Denver should be able to stop the run I woukd think.

If you can stop Hunt, you can control KC's offense and I think Denver's D can do it. 

Hopefully the broncos coaching staff figured out what to do with Simien

  Vegas knows it's a division game and still made the spread 7 points.  There must be a reason for that.  It shouldn't be so easy to take Denver and win money just because they are getting too many points.  This kind of analysis made many losers this year.

I was just listening to ViSN in the car and they brought up a good point. Andy Reid made it a point against the Raiders to stop their run game and I think they held the Raiders to 80 something yards, however, Derek Carr tore them up for over 400 yards through the air. Andy Reid has made similar comments for this game saying they are going to focus their D to stopping Denvers run game. Lets say they hold Denver to under 90 yards rushing, do you think Trevor Siemian will be able to slice and dice the KC D through the air like Carr did? No flipping way, hes no where near the caliber of QB as Carr. I think KC might cover this game and that is they way i'm leaning although I haven't placed a bet yet.

KC is 1st in offensive YPP at 6.5 and 29th in defensive YPP at 6.1. KC is also +9 in turnover differential.

Denver is 20th in offensive YPP at 5 and 2nd in defensive YPP at 4.5. Denver is -8 in turnover differential.

I love looking at YPP stats and turnover stats. I think these are very telling stats when capping a game.

You think this is a sharp bet going against the obvious pick but not when you're backing a team that has scored 16 -16 -10 -0 points in their last 4 games ......This is a product of a bad offensive line and horrible receivers ,

 And the Denver defense becomes only average cause their on the field way too much 

If Denver can lose to the NY Giants 23-10 in Mile High how possibly can taking Denver +7  in KC against a KC team coming off two straight losses be anything but not smart ?

Last night Detroit was coming off 2 straight losses and were at home as well

That's it that's all you got out of what i said 

No offense in the has scored only  42 points in 4 games . 

49ER'S last 4 games offense total points  67 
Cleveland last 4 games offense total points 56 
Denver last 4 games total points 42 

Denver is the worst compared to the worst  teams in the NFL this don't go away with the next game , this just isn't corrected that's what you're missing
