Maybe GB was lucky to beat Barkley...but that was on the ROAD and -5 degrees...

The Lions were lucky to beat that same Bears team at home...they had about 5-6 first downs because of PI late in the game..the refs were awful in that game and was the only reason they won

This Just In:  Green Bay's offense, and Rodger's level of play, is night and day compared to where it was earlier in the year.  

I really don't care about GB's results from week 2 or 5 or 7. Teams' levels of play change throughout the course of a season.  GB's has been on the rise the past few weeks, while Detroit has started to get exposed.  GB has been getting healthier, while Det has been getting hit with more injuries.

Exactly....its funny when people talk about the games GB lost 6-8 weeks ago.  That defense isnt close to who has been playing now.  Still missing Shields, but they are starting practice squad guys like against the Titans and Redskins...

Gb has twice as many turnovers forced the last 5 weeks then the previous 11 weeks....I wonder why?  Its crazy what happens when some starters come back

I find it hard to find value in Detroit going into this game. With how the Packers offense is rolling (AVG. 35 over the last 3), a +4 TO margin over the last 3 games (Detroit is at -2), and the defense giving up only 4,97 points per 100 yards of offense allowed, GB -3 appears to be solid. 
Lets also not forget that we dont know if the Lions will have Riddick or Slay back, and with Detroits offense nosediving since Stafford got hurt, and its hard to see how Detroit keeps up. You could make the argument that its a high stakes away game for gb (GB has had issues this season), but this isn't anything Rodgers, McCarthy, and most of the team have not been through. Further, after seeing the Cowboys DL (Down a few starters) get to Stafford in the 2nd half, there is a real chance the GB pass rush makes life hard for Stafford.

I am not sure if any of you Green Bay Packer backers have ever played sport before but Detroit players have one huge advantage in this game they are sick and tired of the Green Bay cockiness (especially Rodgers) always winning the division and all the hype just like this thread and media on the Pack and most of the football world calling them same old chokers over and over and they will be coming to play do not expect to see the same laid back Lion team they have had enough Pack talk right up to their ever lovin eyeballs.  They have some great experienced weapons in Boldin, Tate, Ebron, Jones and if Riddick and new man Zenner they can win this game not saying they blow the Pack out just saying they can win this game with a 110% effort.  So like i said keep on drinking that Pack koolaid its time for a change in the NFC north.

ON THE ROAD this game is on the ROAD and Chicago played in the same -5 degree weather they were not playing on half the field at 60 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My point was you made the comment the Packers were "lucky" to beat Barkley....

My point was...GB was on the road, in poor conditions....

What is Detroit's excuse for barely beating that same team at home?

Big difference between squeking out a road win in -5 degree weather then getting lucky at HOME

Plus, GB had a 17 point 4th qtr lead, while Det trailed in the 4th at HOME.....so not exactly sure who got lucky

One thing Lions have going for them is Packers are 0-2 in the dome this season..

Fans want Rodgers not Stafford  that simple

Yeah, I guess he is pretty cocky...but when youre putting up 36 TD 7ints type numbers, with average at best weapons, almost every year in the NFL....numbers only Brady can match...I dont blame him

Please don't mention Rodgers and Brady in the same sentence.  Brady is classy and a fierce competitor.  Rodgers can't even get along with his own family he is above them just one cocky assh.le.

Tom Brady is classy?  Like classy by getting one actress pregnant then leaving her for a model classy?  


Why is Aaron one cocky ahole?  Because the reports from his brother and the Bachelor?  Plenty of people/athletes have bad relationships with their family.  Im sure you know why they dont talk right

I know you have trouble LETGOPACK1234 me talking about your assho.le QB being a complete and under cocky bastar.d but thats just how the rest of the NFL feels about him and would do anything to beat him to a pulp literally.  Think this is the Sunday he finds out first hand.  Break a leg Rodgers literally.

Three guys broke their fibula last week to bad it wouldn't have been four with Rodgers filling in the quad.  Then it would have been three nice guys and 1 prick breaking their fibula.

One thing about this game Lion's fans you will know early whether the NFL wants Green Bay in again by the calls against the Lions.  That is the one thing that may keep me from betting this game.

Detroit not a good team? Well, their personal suggest they shouldn't be 9-6.. they have exceeded expectations... so does that suggest they're not a good TEAM? I think the opposite... there's not one driving force that is the reason they have won more games than they should have this year... on the other hand, GB isn't a good "team"... Rodgers is the only reason this team is any good at all.. I understand if you take the starting QB off and team, the level of play traditionally will diminish.... as we seen with the Patriots without tom Brady, they went 3-1, that's a sign of a good "team"... if the Lions lost Stafford, they'd be screwed... I'm just pointing out that GB isn't head and shoulders above Detroit, or anybody for that matter... they're not a great team, they're barely a good team.... I am a lions fan, I also am a fan of greatness, Rodgers is great... GB is not, just as much as Detroit isn't...

lolNFL runs these types of games its the only way the Pack
win.  Detroit is a good team you will find out how good Sunday night

Im sorry, but a team that has trailed in the 4th qtr of every game this season...is not a good team

But, since our only chance of winning is the refs, I sure hope they are on our side
