We have a Thursday Night game pending. In 2015, under the Chip Kelly regime, went to Carolina on a Sunday Night and lost 27-16. In 2014, on a Monday Night, the Eagles spanked the Panthers 45-21 in Philly.
The home team has won the most recent two battles. Will that continue?

i don't trust tampa against az, even though it's a revenge spot for las year's behind kicking by az
NE probably should handle NYJ, but the Jets have upset NE in the past.

I was able to get the Panthers -3 and I like it quite a bit. I'm an Eagles fan and I really hate to bet against my team but I really like the spot for Carolina. I think the Eagles are a little overvalued after their 4-1 start. Their wins were against Washington, the Giants, the Chargers and Arizona. All of those teams besides Washington are pretty bad. As well, you're starting to see all of the positive Wentz/Eagles articles being written, which makes me nervous. Finally, it doesn't look like Fletcher Cox or Lane Johnson are going to play this week. Johnson is a bigger loss than people may realize, as the Eagles were much better last year with Johnson in the lineup than when he was suspended for 10 games (5-1 with vs. 2-8 without). Obviously a RT shouldn't be that valuable but it is something to consider.
The Panthers, meanwhile, look like they're really starting to hit their stride. I really liked them heading into this year and it looks like now that Cam's right they're one of the best teams in the NFC. I just kinda think that Carolina's better than the Eagles so at -3 for me it's definitely a play on the Panthers.

Eagles value is inflated after blowing out a cards team that was playing at 10 am and off a nearly full overtime win. Cards basically sleptwalked through that game like they consistently do at 1pm.
Wethenorth is right about lane Johnson's importance. If he doesn't get suspended 10 games they would have made the playoffs.
If he is out I will be all over the panthers.
