Just on the new Gronk kidda got hamstring dont know he will play or not..
i saw that too. that sucks. he'll be game time decision. probably should have waited and see if the line goes to 7 but not going to overreact they still have Martellus Bennett.. if Gronk plays that'll be huge bonus to have two TEs on the field.

going ahead and adding it. liked what i saw from the Dolphins 1st team offense, i think they can keep this game within 10 pts, but don't think they will win it.

Not sure what my record was, its buried somewhere on covers. Had a so-so regular season probably slightly under .500 but a good postseason thanks to Denver

What I've seen from the Bills in preseason has me thinking this team has a lack of discipline on and off the field and isn't serious about making the playoffs. That has always been somewhat of a trademark for Rex Ryan teams. Rex has coached only two playoff calibur seasons and the rest have been trainwrecks. Seems like the Bills are soon heading down that path shortly and the honeymoon will be over soon.
What I've seen from the Ravens in preseason has me believing this will be a team that isfocusedon turning last year's 5-11 season around. Turnovers and penalty flags were part of the Ravens undoing and it was clear at training camp this would not be tolerated. The Ravens played mostly solid, disciplined football and completed their sixth undefeated pre-season in team history. When the Ravens have went undefeated in preseason they have made the playoffs 4 of the last 5 times, and winning 1 Super Bowl . Some people say "preseason doesn't matter", but I think it kind of does from a preparation standpoint..
And here is where I think the Ravens will have one edge: Coaching. Rex Ryan has never beaten the Ravens since he left Baltimore and his twin Rob Ryan has been a punching bag for the Ravens during his time in Cleveland too..Rex Ryan is 0-3 SU/ATS vs Ravens. Rob is 0-7 SU/2-5 ATS vs Joe Flacco/John Harbaugh, and 0-8 SU/2-6 ATS overall as a def coordinator of Raiders, Browns, Cowboys and Saints. Together they are a winless 0-11 SU and 2-9 ATS combined!
to be continued..

There are many questions about the Ravens heading into the 2016 season. How will Joe Flacco and the aging veterans perform coming off major injury? How will the offensive line hold up with possibly a rookie tandem anchoring Flacco's blindside? Will the secondary improve this season with the signing of Eric Weddle?
We shall find out against an undisciplined and injury-ravaged Bills team.
Last time out, the Bills defensively put the breaks on Flacco forcing him to throw a career high 5 interceptions in 2013. The Ravens couldn't run the damn ball that year as Flacco basically passed on all three downs. The offensive line could not protect Flacco either. he was sacked a career high 48 times and intercepted 22 times, also career highs.
I'm seeing a totally different outcome this time vs Rex Ryan's Bills. Flacco won't have to throw 50 times!! The run game for the Ravens looks deep by committee and will attack the poor Bill's run defense who won't have the services of Bill's top draft pick Shaq Lawson and Reggie Ragland. The Ravens also won't have to worry as much about the once fearsome Bill's pass rush without Manny Lawson, Marcell Dareus, and ex-Bills Mario Williams. I have seen enough from the Raven's top pick Ronnie Stanley to have confidence that'll he be able to hold his own against the Bills edge rushers.

Good stuff DK. I basically put this game on the back burner because of Flacco's knee, so I haven't looked at it much. Great stats on the Ryan brothers, good find

It'll be interesting to see if Rob Ryan now the Bill's defensive coordinator will turn the Bills secondary into trash. Rob Ryan has led some notoriously bad pass defenses in history with the Cowboys and Saints. With Ed Reed as the DB's coach, i think they'll be safe for now and at least be better than their D-line. The WR corp for the Ravens is a promising yet unproven group. Despite not knowing how effective Steve Smith Sr. will be, any time you have Smith Sr out on the field there will be a veteran prescence and psychological edge in favor of the Ravens. Flacco has more weapons to get the ball to and he'll have a little more time to throw than he did three years ago.
My only concern is the Ravens secondary going against a potent Bills offense led by Sammy Watkins and LeSean McCoy that can explode anytime. The Ravens defense let Cam Newton and Andrew Luck have their way against them in the preseason. It'll be up to Jimmy Smith and Shareece Wright to limit the big pass plays. Fortunately the Ravens have looked good in the red zone thus far and have come up with some timely turnovers, a major emphasis for them this season. When all is said and done, I think the team with the better discipline will prevail. I see the Ravens making the most of their opportunities. Rex Ryan teams are too one-dimensional for my liking. Ravens win 27-22

Gronk and Cooper missed the flight and are out. Tough to make a case for the Patriots here but JG has no real rapport with Gronk and does with Derby (who will make a few plays that will surprise people), Bennett and Hogan. Big thing with Jimmy is hes a rhythm QB that needs to find his groove. Patriots still have more than enough weapons. I suspect DJ Foster will have a nice game and year once 12 gets back.
Tough spot but Palmer has looked bad dating back to last year in the regular season. Bill will concentrate on DJ and not letting Brown explode for a huge game. Ryan and Fitz and Jones on Floyd. They attack DJ Humphries with a variety of rushers and try to get to Palmer and inside his head.

so far Flacco has done exceptionally good, he's taken a few shots which is good for him psychologically. you have to believe he was hesitant about how his knee would hold up until he got some hits in. he should be good to go this season.
His mobility actually looks better than before.. he's a little faster dare i say and more decisive with his throws. he's working on getting the ball out quicker with a faster release.

Exactly! You read my mind. Im making my bet based on New England's defense. And i think they can surprise on offense without Gronk. but not having their staple of linemen has to hurt.. no Volmer, Solder and Cooper. Ouch. Maybe the Pats defense can keep this close but dont know if Pats can win now. But its Sunday night football so weird things can happen when Carson is involved! Thinking of buying out but maybe i'll just let it ride...

Everybody should know by now how Carson Palmer performs on national prime time TV! Or... his inability to win the big playoff game. Take for example last year in the NFC Championship game under the bright lightsof Sunday Night Football! The Panthers threw all over their secondary as Greg Olsen tore them up over the middle. The Cardinals sure did miss Tyrann Mathieu, but it wouldn't have mattered, the Cardinals would have still lost. There's no way you throw 4 interceptions and still win the game. unless you're Aaron Rodgers!
So here we are again, Palmer will be performing once more under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football! As the QB of the Arizona Cardinals he is 2-1 SU, 1-2 ATS on Sunday Nights, 5-2 SU 1-6 ATS in primetime. 3-1 SU, 0-4 ATS as home faves in primetime. Overall, Palmer is 3-4 SU, 1-5-1 ATS on Sunday night, 10-11 SU, 5-16 ATS in primetime. 6-2 SU, 2-6 ATS as home faves in primetime.
There is no way I am backing Palmer giving 7 points given his history.I don't care if Brady and Gronk isn't playing. You know, next man up. Martellus Bennett has shown in the past he can step up and make plays, he'll step in as can AJ Derby. Mathieu is back however, but will he be fully healthy and productive? Jimmy Garopolo is no Brady, but he has shown some improvement in the preseason. Like Trevor Siemian, Garoppolo can be a game manager and he'll have some good weapons to throw to. How are the Pats going to protect Garoppolo without 3 of their starting O-line? Belichick doesn't seem too concern. It's not like the Cardinals pass rush was that fearsome last season.
I'm banking that New England's defense will double their efforts to keep this game close. The Cardinals O-line started faltering late in the season and it seems like the O-line with the addition of Evan Mathis struggled in the preseason, I'd be a little concerned if I am Palmer. Count on a few INT gifts to the Pat's corners. I'm kind of scared backing the Pats but I'll let it ride. I trust Belichick more. they might not win but a cover is definitely possible

If there is one thing that Phillip Rivers hates its to be beaten by a rival 5 consecutive times. The Chargers will come to play and go against a Chiefs defense that isnt at full strength. They lost Sean Smith in free agency, Justin Houston to injury and Tamba Hali will be back but not fully 100%. The Chiefs offense will be the same Chiefs offense we've come to expect. Alot of running, a little bit of passing and not much else. The Chargers will have more weapons on offense at their disposal to get the cover and dare say they win outright
