DK NFL Week 15

Ravens coming off a MNF thriller. They tend to not blow teams away and fall a little flat following a MNF game especially off a win(3-6 SUATS following a MNF win). Overall under Harbaugh RAvens are just 7-7 SU, 5-9 ATS after Monday games. Minshew comes back for the Jags. Minshew may do what Wentz did to Ravens defense earlier this year and slip in the backdoor. Ravens defense isn't quite where its suppose to be right now so I can see the Jags move the ball on the Ravens just enough to keep it within the pointspread. Jags ML +600 is tempting but i do not wish that upon my team so i'll take the points. I have the Ravens winning.. 27-17

Jaguars +12.5(-105)

 I was a little worried that Drew Brees coming back might be a detriment but I feel like this was the plan all along and they were preparing for it, perhaps overestimating the Eagles in the process. Saints were also in a bad spot last week being on their 3rd straight road game. Its not like the Saints havent gone thru this before last year when Brees was out for a spell. Saints blew out the Cardinals when Brees returned from injury last year, however the Chiefs shall not be compared to the Cardinals! the Saints are catching the defending champs in a bad spot this week off back to back roadies: first against a fiesty Miami dolphins team that gave Mahomes all he could handle on defense and now will have to contend with another nasty physical defense in New Orleans that will force turnovers and sacks. 

I think Brees coming back makes Saints offense a bit more unpredictable. they'll switch to Taysom Hill on a moment's notice to run option then back to Brees with timely short passes. Chiefs run defense will have finally met their match as Saints will be exploiting this with Hill, Murray and Kamara. 

Saints and Sean Payton are usually good off a loss and will have this team well prepared. Saints have covered 24 out of their last 30 as an underdog and 5-2 SU, 6-1 ATS as a homedog since 2015.

Yep the KC run D will have their hands full...and if they put 8 or 9 in the box, the old man will make them pay. Be great to see KC sweat for a change in this one...ha ha can't wait. Should be a great game.

This game reminds me of Saints hosting Rams in November of 2018.  Drew Brees and Sean Peyton are very good as home underdogs in December when facing an undefeated foe.  The Chiefs are not undefeated but close to it.  Earlier in the week the media was quoting unnamed crowd saying the Chiefs were due to cover their spread as favorites after not covering several weeks in a row.  I will put the Saints on a teaser, if not on a straight bet.  Brees possibly being rusty in his first game back from injury is a little bit of concern.  So is Taysom Hill's tendency to fumble in critical moments as he did in Green Bay game earlier this year.

thats true could be a bit rusty but he was out for 6 games last year and came back without a hitch. banking on Saints run game and their defense has to be lights out if they want to win. their home dog lines in that 6-1 ATS record have been short lines of 3 or less. GL Corey

 Love the Jags and I like this spot for the saints as well. As much as I want to bet the chiefs here, I feel saints is the play.

i was leaning Chiefs originally and like Corey mentioned i too was thinking they should be due to cover this week but i think its gonna take a straight up loss for them to reawaken their senses. Chiefs defense should be better than they are letting on right now but theyre just a bit sloppy basically on cruise control.

GL DK, you and allall got me out of the huge hole this past week and I'm grateful to you both. Especially yesterday. Those were awesome three picks you posted. Two of them were also allall's and that was more than enough  for me to jump in. Hit both - over and the Chargers, didn't have enough guts to go for the Chargers SU as you have so generously recommended, but, those two were more than enough to get me back in black for the first time this NFL season.
