square plays cash? sure, the ones you pick end up getting moosed! (see cards, pats) 

sharp plays don't work? as soon as you hop off they start cashing! (see chargers)

lines are horrible this year there is simply no edge anymore (what the fuck are you suppose to do with a 4.5 to 5.5 spread? it's so obvious that it's designed to get the sharps on one side and the public on the others. too bad knowing this won't change a damn thing or make you win more) 

it feels like every door you discover slams shut just as you walk up to it  fucc everything

There is no sharp or square play. Cap the matchup and the spot the right way and you have an edge every given Sunday.

cute. have you taken a look at next weeks spreads? 

sea vs sf....4.5 
cle vs stl....5.5 
hou vs mia......5.5 
atl vs ten.....5.5 
oak vs sd....5.5 

have fun with these numbers next week lol. if anyone can hit above 55% over the rest of the season or even 53% on these 5.5 lines i will admit you are right lol

with spread of 4.5 & 5.5 just TREAT them as 3.5 ( out of 84+ games playing so far - hardly more than 4 games end with winning by  5 or 6 pts )

I'm a numbers guy ( betting 90% + on Total ) 1st 20 games or so this season :  I got " throw off " by 22.5 instead of 21.5 , and 26.5 instead of 24.5

I lost a lot from nfl this season already what pisses me more than losing is watching crap and fix plays in second half and end of games, not worth my stress trying nhl for now instead of nfl

Maybe you should just learn to cap games. And if you're losing, you're in no position to tell guys who ARE winning that they are 'wrong' for not believing in hocus-pocus public/sharp nonsense.

If YOU were winning, we would have to admit YOU were right. It doesn't work the other way around. And as for suuma proving it this year, nice one ignoring he was like 64% last year.

This just proves you don't know how to handicap teams and calculate your own power rankings and point spreads. If you're surprised by half the board's numbers, you're not coming with an understanding of how and why they were posted.

So STFU.

darn bro tell me about it.....i went 5-1 in college football yesterday and every single play i took today lost.....

jax ml 
tennessee ml
Arizona ml live -135
Chicago Cubs ML
Seahawks -6.5 


And the only play i didnt lose....ironically was a 7 point teaser with New England -2 and UNDER 61....in which i LUCKILY PUSHED because of a karate kick in front of the kicker.....just fucken unreal

i am in a high roller weekly pool also...it's 1000 dollar buy in with about 51 entries and the top 5 pay out. You pick 5 games of your choosing against the spread and get 2 points for a win and 1 for a push...

I went 1-4 today.....and before today was 11-13-1 all season....

SHOCKINGLY..the leader has 36 points so far....18-7 ATS which i think is just insane for NFL capping....

I always thought 55 % capping in NFL was possible...but its a lot harder than it looks...

NCAA football is considerablyyyyyy easier

I feel your pain though too brother....

I think honestly this week I'm going to darn trying to read what is "Sharp" and what is "Square" or trying so hard to go against the grain. 

If you asked me on Thursday, would you take the Bengals -3 against EJ Manuel i would say absolutely of course!!

After reading covers threads for 2 days and with the insane amount of people picking Buffalo against the spread cause it was the "sharp" play swayed me off the pick completely...

Sometimes believe it or not...it is better to stay away from here...or at least make your picks and bets BEFORE reading what others here have taken

Maybe its superstition...but it is frustrating

'Sharps' and 'squares' only exist in the mouths of touts and sportsbook promoters.

They're both myths that appeal to the ego of casual gamblers who, in reality, just don't know how to actually handicap sports.

And yet 10-15 guys are winning consistently year after year. Wrong again.

Why are guys like suuma, MrxKrazz, TheActuary, etc. on Covers always up at end of season?

Why are the guys on the blue bird site like NickelBets, DB868, vgrpicks, Book_Breaker ALL UP BY SO MANY GAMES IF NO ONE WINS?

NickelBets posts here now, too. Go look at his overall twitt record. How did he get to 31-5 this season if it's impossible? How did vgr get to 125-84 so far if it's impossible? They all says squares/sharps don't exist, too. 

Oh, boo hoo for you I don't post picks, I just posted a dozen guys who are consistently winning and say square/sharp believers are idiots.
