Nick Saban didnt replace Hurts with Tua for no reason. Tua on another level compared to Hurts and better qb will win this game.

Dolphins ML is a gift. Wrong team favored. Dolphins win big on primetime and make a statement. After this game everyone will realize Eagles are really in trouble with Hurts despite strong roster.

This is a bad matchup for Eagles. Dolphins only lose to pass heavy qbs. Bills beat them Chiefs would beat them too. You can't beat Dolphins with what Philly is trying to do with Hurts at qb. You have to be able to match their offense.

Hurts won't be able to do that.

Eagles O-line can't win every game. Hurts screws up too much on those 3rd and long. If you force them to 3rd and long and pressure Hurts then you can win. Hurts is one read and take off scramble.

They tricking everyone with Eagles starting off 5-0. Super bowl hangover/regression happening a bit late but it's really starting now. After Jets loss it will snowball and Eagles will be shitty again.

Jalen Hurts is a game managing backup caliber qb. His shittyness masked by Eagles dominant O-line. Hurts already 7 INT. One per game.

It may be a bad matchup, but I don't see them going 4-8 in the remaining games. They do have a tough schedule remaining.

Dolphins scored 20 points at Buffalo and 24 points at New England.  It would not be surprising if they don't score more than that here.  Eagles D line is gonna wreck many series for them with that Sunday night home crowd.

Dolphins Moved the ball on the Bills..had almost 400 yards of offense..Should have had 27-28 points..went for 2 early in the 3rd and missed it and had a TD called back at the bills 10 yard line for illegal man down field, which was a bogus call and then they turned the ball over on 4th down....They were chasing points in the 2nd half. down 14-21 points.....Vs the Pats. they missed a FG and had a FG blocked in the 2nd half so they should have had 27-30 points vs a Pats defense that was playing a prevent 3 safeties and had their healthy defense back then........NOONE has really stopped the dolphins but themselves..They put 21 in the 1st half vs the pats and then 2nd half was just burning clock 2nd half...

I don't think it's coincidence that they "stop themselves" vs better defenses.

If Jalen Carter and D Slay are back this week, I think Miami has problems.

    That's my opinion.

    @YouWish

Go look at the some of these teams point per game average.. NFL scoring is way way down for almost all teams except the Dolphins.....So many teams have a hard time scoring..Look at the Bengals...The bills could only score 14 vs the NY Giants.an_roll_laugh. If you call..20 points and 393 yards being shut down by the bills on the ROAD ...Oh My.....an_roll_laugh...And they did not get shutdown by the Patriots...It was 17-3 at the half...Bellichick decided to play a prevent and slow the game down. they won by 7 on the road.. and put up 389 yards/24 points with 2 missed FG's....LOL shut down..Some NFL team cannot even score TD's in a a 1st half...see the Patriots..Jets..Giants.....and putting up almost 400 yards is being shut down..I mean..they do average 550 yards so I see your pointnew_laugh_sweat

U make no sense..Bills lost to the JETS ...Lost to the Jaguars..Should have lost to the Giants...NFL is a week to week league..49ers lost to the Browns and a back up QB.. this is not college football..Everyone in the NFL can play... ..They beating down NFL teams..So why did the Chiefs struggle to score and beat the Broncos last week? Why did the Bills only be able to put up 14 points vs the Giants and go scoreless in the 1st half....Yet the Dolphins are putting up crazy points on these teams...This is the NFL...they not winning game by 3-4 points and barley winning like the Vikings or Giants were last year, which everyone knew were frauds and barley winning...they blowing out teams.. There are a lot of team averaging 12-17 PPG..That is how hard it is to score in the NFL this season....Scoring is way down..Defense is dominating the offensive lines...This is facts...Unders are hitting at 56% this season...Yet Dolphins setting records so far

I watched a few minutes of eagles this year and could clearly see they are not the same team on either side of the ball this year. not sure who all is back from last yr's squad but saw they have a new offensive coordinator and a new defensive coordinator

Kind of agree with th op with the Tua being better than Hurts and a few other things. Could this be the Hurts revenge bowl for getting benched in the national championship game for Tua? Makes for a fun narrative.

But beware of Miami, how long can they keep winning with just offense?

Their dvoa ranks are nuts, offense being #1 and well ahead of every team. Defense #27, Special teams #30, and SOS #32. So that answers any questions about strength of schedule.

You'd think with Vic Fangio they'd be a little bit buttoned up on D.

Definately they are not the same team and Dolphins are much better then last year and look like they will have a pretty special year, Eagles look the opposite.

Eagles not good in redzone defense almost as bad as Miami but the difference is Eagles not good offensively in the red zone while Miami is elite. Eagles offense ranks 23rd while Dolphins offense ranks no. 1. And both defenses nearly even, Eagles 25th in redzone defense while Dolphins are 26th.

Eagles out-played in the all-important QBPR margin (-10) on the year so far (Dolphins+15.2) and Eagles terrible efficiency with both yards and plays margin. Ranking 22cd and 14th and to think the Eagles are 5-1 ? How does that make any sense ? They continue to win close 1 score games which is not repeatable.

I like the scheduling spot for the Dolphins. They have been in sunny Florida for a couple of weeks cruising to wins against easy opponents and last time they played a big-boy game like this they got spanked by the Bills. But that game came after they scored 70. Have they learned a few things since then? Will the fact that they got embarrassed by Buffalo, the only winning team they’ve played (all the rest have losing records) give them extra juice for this prime time game against cold weather team that was in the SB last year? peace_5

They're going to get a dose of "Vikings" luck one of these games. Remember when the Cowboys beat the Vikings 40-3 last year?

    cool

I just don't think that's going to be the case.  Don't forget this game will be played Sunday "Night",.... and in Philly (43 degrees forecast).  Also, forecasting 15mph winds.

If you guys think Tua is gonna be slinging the rock like he has in previous games, I would strongly disagree.

This is gonna be a pound the rock type of game IMO, and Philly should have the advantage here, particularly if Lane Johnson (OT) of the Eagles is healthy..

And last point, you guys are discounting how difficult this Jets defense really is that gave PHI fits last week.  Mahomes had similar difficulties in his game.

I expect a big bounce back game here from PHI in front of their fans on Sunday Night ..

Big difference in the 2 teams, Vikings were not good, only lucky. Dolphins are good. Vikings had 11 close 1 score wins which is likely the all-time record and only 2 blowout 14 pts wins for (-9) . Dolphins have 3 blowout wins already and only 2 close wins for +1, that is what a good team looks like, Vikings was what an incredibly lucky team looks like.

Dolphins aren't winning with luck, their passing offense is historically great and was very, very good last year, those things are repeatable. Now with all that said, yes they could regress, no question about that but i don't see any real evidence they will at this point.  I dont' think it is predictable all that much as to when or even if they regress, at least none i know of. Maybe somebody else knows different with real evidence.

Phins 27th in DVOA defense.  Was at the game last Sunday and watched the lowly Chubba and Panthers run the ball easily on Miami D going up 14-0....then Miami scored 35 straight points an_roll_laugh

Philly offensive play calling has been underwhelming at best....play call to end last game was laughable in the call and execution by Hurts.  Rookie OC not getting any better as season progresses....as someone stated, the regression is hitting Philly and not coincidentally as they move into the most difficult part of their schedule.
