Why did the books like the Browns so much today? It wasn't to get 50/50 action with a line of -4, because A LOT of people took the Pats (80%-20% at some places).
Are there stats to back up this line? Are the pats notoriously bad in Cleveland?
Hindsight 20/20 but...
1) Browns bye week playing their coach's #1 rival
2) Colt McCoy's first home game after 2 solid road games
3) New England was 19th offensively and 28th defensively in the league coming into this week. They just scored quite a few points on defensive and special teams to get to 6-1.
4) The trading of Randy Moss has eliminated the "deep" threat on an offense that loves to go short. You need that threat to really exploit the other options.
