Last year in week 16 Harbaugh took his Niners into Seattle as 1pt favorites,A huge statement game for Pete Carroll and his troops to prove they belong ,they headed back home having their asses handed to them in a real butt kicking,getting ran out of CenturyLink field 43-13 on SNF.
The game was effectively over at HT for them,down 28-6.Infact their only TD of the game came in garbage time when Kaepernick found Delanie Walker with 1.40 left on the clock.This game was the night before Christmas eve.
An embarrassing effort from one of the NFL`s elite squads BUT that was not suprising when you consider that only a week earlier again on SNF the Niners had gone across country to Foxboro the home of the much vaunted Patriots and played in one of the games of the season,coming away winners 41-34 winners,a game whoever watched it will never forget.The Niners were up 31-3 with 6 minutes of the 3rd quarter remaining,they had to sustain a huge Patriot rally eventually coming out on top.An exhausting effort.
So we had an emotionally tired Niners team go into its NFC west rivals home on primetime and get the absolute shit kicked out of them,embarrassed and beat down.
We can expect that Jim Harbaugh had this game circled as soon as the schedule was announced,there is not a lot between these two squads obviously and it is usually folly to bet against the Hawks at home with the biggest HFA in the NFL but getting a FG in a huge revenge spot is enough for me to make this a play.

The giants have elite WR`s but the giants offensive line is horrific,Eli risks getting badly injured out there everytime he takes the field.He cannot get the ball to them without chucking it up and hoping for the best.The giants have zero running game or a back they trust making it easy for D co-ordinators to dial up exotic blitzes far to often.Eli was sacked 7 (seven) times on sunday...the left tackle situation being a complete shambles.And all this against a lowly rated Carolina defensive front.
Kc are not without their own problems tho,their offensive line isnt playing very well,in particular #1 pick Eric Fisher but on sunday they go up against a squad who cannot rush the passer or stop the run,the Gmen are a complete mess right now.One fear ATS is the conservative offense they incorporate to allow Alex Smith to operate,aslong as he continues to protect the football that is good enough for me because I expect Kc to command good field position throughout.Kc have a not so secret weapon,punter Dustin Colquitt,the best in the league imo,a much undervalued position.
Andy Reid has had extra time to prepare for a foe he knows like the back of his hand,infront of what will be a loud and raucous Arrowhead fanbase,making it even harder for the Giants offense to communicate...call it square,call it what you want.

play a lick of defense. Making it easy for game manager Smith, well ,to manage
games.
On Sunday they get their 1st real test against a competitive
team,a 3-1 team.
A Titans team who have played great defense and with the
maturation of QB Locker have looked real play off contenders thus far.He hadn’t
thrown a pick yet this season.The big fly in the ointment of course is that the
blossoming Locker is now injured and will be missing for anything from 4-8
weeks.
Ryan Fitzpatrick will step in and try and keep the Titans good
start going.Now one thing that we and the Titans know is that Ryan Fitz is
prone to gambling and taking chances with the deep ball ,hes TD/INT ratio isn’t
good since he entered the league …19/20..sucessful teams don’t turn the ball
over.So the Titans must get the run game going and I expect a large dose of
conservative play calling,limiting the chance for RF errors and in effect
turning him into a game manager limiting shots down field.
The injury to Locker who really had the backing of the Titans
players could this week lead to an extra effort as the players rally round.
I expect this game to turn into a defensive battle with both teams
struggling to maintain drives..Neither team getting into the 20s…now this is a
long long way ahead but storms could be in the forecast for Nashville come Sunday,this
is why we are getting our action down now,just incase.
