Homer picks of a blowout usually don't end well for them.  I think both teams are crap and if there was a way for them both to lose that would be my bet.  I'm staying away from this toilet bowl game as I think it's ends close and is only won by virtue of who sucks the least that day.

the eagles are very tough to bet right now. they havnt had a  good game since they beat the bills in overtime. eagles havnt covered the spread since november 20th !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

eagles are 2-6-2 last 10 games against the spread. and alot of the games werent even close. 

The funny thing is literally no one from Philly that I know (and I'm from there) has any confidence in them winning. How could you? The defense stinks, Hurts has become a turnover machine.

They were so lucky to draw Tampa, it's probably the only NFC team that made it I think they can beat and it's no certainty. If the Bucs had to go up and play in the cold it would be way tougher (they rarely win in the cold).

The NFC south sucks and the Bucs have no run game but the Eagles tailspin was pretty dramatic they didn't lose to good teams it was all dregs. Slay is coming back but how healthy is he...they need him bad because TB's strength is their WRs.

Imagine if you had the Over on the Eagles wins. It was 11.5 and they were 10-2 with 6 games to go lost 5 of 6 and the one win they beat the Giants only cuz DeVito came back to Earth they didn't do much and then they went and lose to them in the last game.

They absolutely will not crush TB. They may win but for most of the year TB has been in games til the end they actually overachieved I thought once Brady retired and Baker came in they would totally tank because they had no run game Brady was the whole offense.

I will say that keeping Swift out last game and Slay who was supposedly ready to return might have been just because of the MetLife field, maybe they just mailed it in and wanted to draw TB any way.

But they're not blowing anyone out with that defense

The Eagles after losing the super bowl, people thought they'll regress this year. But it was the total opposite and now that they are free falling which it's should be expected. Look, basically it's a restart for every teams that are in. I believe the Eagles will destroy Tampa Bay who couldn't even score a td against Carolina. 

They beat some the best teams out there before they started spinning out of control.

Carolina had a solid defense, in fact 4th best in ypg, not that side of the ball that caused them to go 2-15. Tampa scored 29 vs Atlanta, 34 vs GB and 30 vs the Jags in wins during the month of December. Meanwhile the Eagles defense starting November 26 through the end of the season surrendered 34,42,33,20,25,35, and 27 points in going 2-5 to finish the season. Without checking I'd guess no defense gave up more points during that stretch than the Eagles. Someone mentioned that this is the one good matchup for the Eagles, perhaps, but it's also the one good matchup of the playoff teams for the Bucs. 2 different teams than when they played each other back in September, one is better, one is worse, I'll let you figure out which is which.
