I was looking at splits for this game.

Vikings on the road this season:

- 2-2 against teams .500 or better, averaging 19.2 ppg while giving up 22.3 ppg

- Their 6 road wins were against teams that were a combined 20 games under .500 (38-58)

- They gave up an average of 19 ppg on the road this season

Eagles at home this season:

- 7-0 in games the starters played

- held 6 of 9 opponents to 10 points or less

- in their last 4 home games, they've given up 3 - 10 - 6 - 10, a little above 7 points a game.

Road/home defensive splits:

Vikings on the road 

303 yards per game
19 points per game
12 sacks
10 forced turnovers

Eagles at home

280 yards a game
13 points per game
23 sacks
16 forced turnovers

The "Nick Foles sucks" factor:

The 3 games Foles has started and played -

215  yards a game
5 TD passes
1 INT 
91.7 QB rating 

Case Keenums stats over the last 3 games -

215  yards a game 
3 TD passes 
1 INT 
90.5 QB rating 

You won't need the extra 3 points on Sunday.

Keenum had two game winning drives against NO under 2 minutes.  Probably more than Matt Ryan and Nick Foles combined this year he did in one game.

IMO, the only chance you have of winning this one is taking the 3.5, and then maybe, but not SU.

Vikes D will feast on Foles. If they are as good as you think, they may keep it close. I never use the G word or the L word, but I am telling you, it is. SU no way they win.

Teams they beat this season at home were a combined 13-43 on the road and almost all those wins were with the number two QBR guy at the helm in Wentz.  Final QBR for those with enough attempts was 1- Wentz 75 2-Keenum 70

Foles w a QBR of 28 although not enough attempts comes in behind Kizer, Trubisky, Hundley, Savage, Brisset, CJ Beathard, Gabbert.  So with a dramatically better QB at the helm they beat a bunch of terrible teams that combined on average to win 1.8 games on the game this year.

They both have great defenses and are pracically mirror images of each other, but home field is huge here.

The Vikings give up a 19 points a game on the road, the Eagles nearly a TD less at home at 13 ppg.

The Birds have held their last 4 opponents at home to 7.2 ppg.  Foles may have problems against the Vikings defense, but Keenum will have just as much, if not more, problems with this Eagles defense at home.

The wrong team is favored here.

Have you seen who the Vikings have played on the road?  Browns, Bears, Packers without Rodgers, etc.

Their road opponents were 20 games under .500 (38-58), and they STILL gave up 19 a game on the road.  They also had some close calls against teams like the Bears, squeeking by 20-17.

When the Vikes did face teams .500 or better on the road, they went 2-2 with a point differential of 19.2 for - 22.3 against.

That matters as much as who have the Eagles beaten at home.

All the "differential" comes from one game.  Vikings in game 2 were blown out at Pittsburgh when Bradford thirty minutes before the game decided he couldn't go and Keenum was thrown in with little to no prep Vikings lost 26-9. 

The one other loss was a stretch of 4 out of 5 on the road when they won @ Washington,  home to Rams, @ Detroit, @ Atlanta, and then played their worst game of the year at Carolina and still were tied with two minutes left.  This isn't 4 of five on the road situation or a Sam Bradford game plan.

Eagles are 1-1 at home against teams with a winning record lost to Dallas and beat Atlanta.  Negative scoring differential and average 7.5 points per game.

You're really gonna factor in a game where they rested the majority of their starters and had Nate Sudfeld in?

If anything, it's even more impressive, given the fact Dallas had Elliot back, Dak and the rest of the starters played the entire game, and put up 6 points against the Eagles 2nd & 3rd stringers

No one mentioned this but CK did not play much in the 4Q...except the Det/Pitt/Car games.   Most of the games were decided entering 4Q.  Of the 13 wins, none are come from behind.

So the stat should be a lot better if he is allowed to "play" in Q4.

Actually, the Eagles were down against the Rams when Wentz got hurt.

Foles came in and led the winning drive.

What does having Wentz in the lineup have anything to do with the Eagles dominant home defensive numbers?

The defensive numbers are just terrible competition.  Again Eagles home record against teams that finished 13-43 on the road.   Against teams with a winning record they are 1-1 at home averaging 7.5 points per game.  In addition, they allowed over 20 points three times at home.  Vikings hadn't allowed more than 20 in any home game until the Saints put up 24 Sunday.  Think you can pass on the Eagles corners and don't think Foles can pass at all against any respectable D.  So think it ends up something like 21-10.

And who exactly has Minnesota played? Pittsburgh who they lost to, and against common opponents...Was, Atl, Chicago, Rams they both won, against Carolina.. Minnesota lost and the Eagles won.
